The beds! ! We slept like rocks except for getting up to walk the dog around the grounds. Easy to get in and out with your room key. Breakfast was nice as they had a good assortment of food. The staff was very helpful and knew what they were doing. We felt at home..
I've stayed there many times over the last year & half, highly recommended. I have never had a problem. A friendly and helpful staff. The amenities are great and easy access from interstate 75. I have stayed on the road for thr last five years and you can't beat the accommodations for the price. Close to shopping and entertainment.
I was very impressed with this hotel! Everyone was very helpful and friendly. When our key to our room didn't work, we quickly got upgraded for free! The rooms are updated and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the room was large. We enjoyed freshly baked cookies the night of our stay, and the breakfast was outstanding! Along with the normal fruit, bread, pastries, cereal, hardboiled eggs and waffles was biscuits and gravy, there was bacon, eggs for a sandwich, and french toast! I've never seen my 2 year old eat so much! We would definitely recommend this hotel!
I flew into the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte airport from the Midwest for a 45-year college reunion in Naples. It's clearly one of the best of the LQ chain.. The front desk staff was really welcoming, caring and understanding their jobs to welcome and keep guests feeling good about the hotel. The king room was nicely updated, attractive, and comfortable...absolutely no complaints. The small but quiet, and attractive pool at the end of the building was a pleasant surprise...nice and removed from noise, traffic, etc. A pleasant retreat. The only negative was the breakfast offerings which were quite limited even by La Quinta standards (not even pastries or muffins). Otherwise, a great place, pet friendly of course, and a front desk staff that many big hotels could learn from. I'd come back in a flash!
very pleasant and comfortable. No complaints at all. We were not expecting a full breakfast and were pleased to find that included. The hotel was very attractive and well maintained, and the staff members were all knowledgeable and friendly. I priced other hotels in the area and found this to be the most competitive. Quite frankly, it was a lot nicer than I was expecting. I recommend it to anyone.
