"Pet friendly equals loud"

The counter staff was very polite and accommodating. Early in the evening I had to change rooms due to the neighboring room's barking dogs. It seemed like several rooms had yelping/barking dogs and I could hear them over the television. I had no idea this was a pet friendly hotel when setting up my reservation.

I'm glad I stayed despite issues with a specific clerk that occurred on a daily basis.
~ Pet friendly and plenty of places to walk a dog on the street sidewalks.
~ Room was spacious, rooms with microwave and fridge available upon asking.
~ Air conditioner worked good - in August - in the heat - in the humidity.
- Jean, the afternoon front desk clerk, was incredibly rude each and every time I had to deal with her.
- One day I had trouble getting my door to work. I went to the front desk only to see a ?helping another guest, be back soon? sign on the counter. I waited for about five minutes then left. I finally jimmied my door open but decided to report the problem so I went back to the front desk a half hour later and Jean still wasn?t there. She was gone for an hour. A hotel this big and only one clerk? Ridiculous.
- EVERY DAY Jean put up the ?helping another guest? sign and disappeared for an hour or more. One time a woman was waiting to check in as I walked through the lobby. The woman asked me if I was checking in or knew where the clerk was. I didn?t, however, I saw Jean outside shooting the breeze with someone. When I told her a guest wanted to check in she copped a MAJOR nasty attitude on me. I don?t get why she works there, maybe they can?t fire her.
- There are some guys who are TV installers who stay there long-term but have foul mouths. I saw a woman ask one guy to stop using the eff word and he got very angry with her and I thought he was going to hit her. He told her to eff off, eff you, etc. While this isn?t necessarily the hotel?s fault it was scary to watch it happen.
Really nice and hidden away from main drag, lots of pretty landscaping. Clean, close to shops and restaurants. Nice folks. Pool. The hall carpets are a little worn but the rooms are nice. Did not get breakfast since we left before dawn, but it seems a good value for the money. Booked through Booking.com. Very smooth registration process. Lots of eateries nearby from which to choose. VERY close to Sanford airport, which was our destination.
very nice hotel. Pool area could use some updating and minor repairs. Lift for spa has been broken since we were there before in July. Manager and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. For some reason they apparently don't do express checkout. Minor issue just had to go down to the desk to get the bill and check out.
other reviews on this hotel were both good and bad, I actually got a great room. Updated, clean, and very quiet. Easy check in and out. Did not like elevator though, bit dingy. Will be back soon, gladly!
