We were pleased with our room - it was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a room at the end facing the highway, so it was a little noisy at night, but not late into the night. We travel to Denver to visit family, and stay at this hotel everytime we visit, and will continue to do so.

This hotel seems to be recently remodeled, and it is conveniently located about 5 minutes from Downtown Denver. The check-in process with Lisa was quick and friendly, and our King room was fairly spacious and clean. My only real complaint was that the vending machines on 2 floors were not working properly. Other than that, our stay was up to LaQuinta standards. The beds are always comfortable, and the pet policy is cost-free. There were several restaurants nearby, and King Soopers, a local grocery store, is right down the street. Our room had a mini fridge and microwave that was nicely hidden behind cabinets, and the room was furnished with a comfortable leather recliner and LG television. The area is well suited for business travelers and leisure travelers alike.

We had a great stay and found it not too hard to get to downtown, once we knew how to do it. I had a local tell me how. Everything was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good with many choices. I have checked out a couple of hotels close to this site and had determined to not stay there again - but we will continue to use this site as we have relatives close by and we liked what we found.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel accommodations were sweet, and their location made for easy access to the concert we attended at Red Rocks! Needless to say, we had a stellar weekend.

My husband, dog and I had to leave our (new! sob!) home for four days to have the floors refinished after a minor flood. I booked first at Extended Stay America, as they accepted pets, for an extra $25 per night. Foolish choice! When we checked in, I was told that the free breakfast was served in the tiny "lobby", and that it was "grab and go." The room was upstairs, around two corners, and next to a man sitting on his bed, with his shoes outside the room and the door open. Our room was literally one room, queen-sized bed, with the bathroom just behind a half wall. We didn't stay even to sit down. Back in the car, we Googled hotels in zip code 80235. La Quinta was right behind ESA. HUGE difference! For LESS--yes, that is right--LESS money than ESA, we got a suite with 2 flat screen TVs, a large living room, large bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a large bathroom. No pet charge. The suite was as nice as a mountain resort, with wood floors and a clever arrangement of walls/rooms that maximized the space. Comfy, comfy bed and pillows! There is a fold-out sofa bed; the sofa feels like memory foam. As I am recently, temporarily disabled, it was especially nice that they gave us a first-floor end unit next to the handicapped parking. Breakfast is a small buffet with ample tables and chairs for the hikers, families, and international visitors. When I think of almost staying at ESA, I get creepy shivers. We got way better digs for less at La Quinta!
