Watch out if you are on the North side of the motel, the traffic on 285 never quits and the windows do not block out the noise. Otherwise the motel is quite nice and the staff is excellent. I would stay again if guaranteed I would be placed in a room on the South side of the motel
The staff was great, the room was clean as well as the restroom. You can walk to a few places to eat. (about a ten minute walk) Great location for business travel central to most places. The breakfast is so-so, but the hospitality more then makes up for it.

I travel a lot on vacation, and stay at many different hotels/motels, and find this one to be equal to or better than many that cost much more. BUT, be warned, they allow smoking in some of the rooms, and the smell permeates the entire facility. It doesn't bother me since I have been forced to be around this disgusting habit all my life.
Also the TV carries FOX NEWS, but not MSNBC, whatever that means!
La Quinta chain is Dog friendly. I was there for a dog show and the staff were very friendly
There were several dog people staying but all was quiet and organized

Great staff and a good location. The room was spacious and clean. I've stayed at this hotel a couple of time before and it's... okay. I didn't have the breakfast, so I can't speak to the quality or that. But there's a Denny's just down the street for a quick bite to eat. Granted this is a La Quinta, so you're not getting the amenities that you'd expect from the Omni. However, they offer free parking; free breakfast and free Internet, in addition to a clean room. The only complaint I would have is if your room is near the elevator, you hear everything. The bell ringing as the elevator approaches your floor; the coke falling out of the coke machine when someone is purchasing a drink; the doors from other rooms slamming shut; even the conversations of people speaking in the hallways. Either the walls are very thin or there's far too much of a gap around the door. I would definitely stay here again, but the next time, I will ask for a room away from the elevator and see if that makes any difference.
