Breakfast very simple (but includes waffles, which you however have to make yourself)
Location is perfect!
Check-in not very welcoming.
Window in room cannot be opened.
In general ok hotel, but would prefer to pay a bit more for a bigger chain hotel.
The ladies who work at the front desk are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional - they made our vacation extremely enjoyable. I regret that we didn't write down their names as they deserve recognition!
Came to N.O. for 3 days just for a quick getaway. Wanted a place close to the French Quarter and we found a jewel in the La Quinta. 2 Block from the quarter, 4 blocks from the Mississippi. Nice, spacious rooms. Front desk staff very friendly. Nice continental breakfast. Nice pool on 5th floor outside (still a little to cool to use in May). Made our trip very enjoyable.
This hotel was nothing fancy, but just what we needed for our stay in New Orleans. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, Breakfast was ok. Close to the French Quarter, Canal St., Bourbon St.
Very clean, very easy to find. Parking is expensive but so are most places in NOLA. Check in was a breeze, reception is very friendly. Room was wonderful, very large and unique. It kind of felt like a small apartment there was a little entry way at the front door where the closet and things were and the bathroom was off of that. It was pretty quiet. You could't really hear your neighbors. You could tell it had recently been remodeled. Flat screen TV's in the rooms and very nice amenities. The location was wonderful. Very close to the river and cruise terminal and right at the French Quarter. We were just far enough away to not be bothered by the noise but close enough to walk to it. I would definitely stay there again next time I am in New Orleans!!
