We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and well kept. The work out room was a little small but since I was the only one in there at the time it was fine. The location was convenient - right off the highway. It was a good value for the money.

Was in Lakeland to finish my florida vacation and take in a game at the lakeland tigers vs daytona beach. room was clean but was a little old with some cracks in the bathroom. no big deal. great smelling shampoo. nice. room was big with a good amount of tv channels. the next morning (a sunday) there was just one guy trying to fix breakfast, check people out and handle what looked like a thousand things. was going to use the pool but it was trashed from the night before with morans leaving trash all over the place and throwing their cancer stick butts in the pool. if the hotel had a few more people handling these areas there would be less problem and if the customers would treat property like they probably do at home (or maybe they don't) things would be better.

Enjoyed our room and stay. The room was quite large and well-decorated. Please note that the hotel is pet-friendly, so you may hear an occasional bark. We didn't feel that this was an issue. We travel to Lakeland quite often and will stay here again.

This stay was good, maybe very good. The rooms and hotel were clean - that's my number 1. We were only in the hotel to sleep and got in after midnight each night and left by about 8am each morning so we didn't use many of the amenities. The one we did try was the breakfast. It wasn't much to talk about. Waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, poor bagels and toast/muffins. I don't really want to eat already peeled hard boiled eggs. The yogurt was good. I'd rather see less and cut the price or better (hot) food to choose from. We ended up going out for breakfast 2 or 3 mornings of our 5 day stay. Also, the room had no refrigerator or microwave. A different La Quinta we stayed in the night before arriving here did so why is that? It would have made it more convenient for us to keep drinks cold or heat up some late night snacks or better breakfast items. Still, I'll give it a 3 but it was clean, everything worked and the location was convenient to all that we were doing.

This hotel is without doubt the best holdiday accomodation that my wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at. The management and staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible and nothing was too trouble for them. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Lakeland - West again
