I had a king room at this hotel and really liked the contemporary décor. It had coffee maker, large flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator. It had a wall to wall desk area running the full width of the room ? it was great ? I never had some much work space. The free internet was easy to access and pretty fast.
The window blind instead of a plain white blind had a fancy design on it contributing to the room?s décor.
This hotel has a very nice pool area which is beautifully landscaped ? very appealing.
The free breakfast was okay but did not have any hot plates like eggs, bacon, etc.
The one knock I have on this hotel was that the wall seemed very thin. Part of the problem was that I was near the vending & ice machine which was getting a lot of use.
Staff were professional and helpful.
One request I would make of anyone staying in any hotel anywhere is don?t let your door slam shut. It only takes a second to slowly close the door so it does not disturb your neighbors.
This is my favorite La Quinta in North Texas -- I am always wiling to travel miles out of my way to stay here because I can depend on the service and accommodations. I love the big work areas and unlike many other La Quintas, this one has ENOUGH LIGHT for me to work in the room. Bravo, La Quinta Plano West!

The staff here is fantastic, great people who are very helpful. This is an older hotel with very thin walls though. You could hear people in the next room talking, watching tv, or taking a shower. I know management can't do anything about the walls but it still effects one's feeling of privacy within the property. The hotel rooms are well maintained for the most part and very clean. The sink in our room was badly cracked though which wasn't very appealing. I took a shower around 8:30am one morning but the water was ice cold. It took about 20 minutes before it got warm enough I could take a shower. I would stay at this place again just be aware it does have a few minor issues.
Very pretty, very clean hotel with a pleasant and attentive desk staff. They welcome your pets and are kind to them. I'd especially like to thank a member of the staff named Brandon for going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we might want. Good value for the price. Comfortable beds, nice rooms, very clean, attractively decorated.
I was very impressed with the quality of service and the room quality. I will definetely use LaQuinta in the future. The staff went above and beyond in my opinion. The property was clean, the rooms large and location was great.
