This hotel has been renovated, but maintains the old fashioned large, landscaped pool area with a gazebo. I have spend lots of time reading in the gazebo while the children played in the pool! The rooms are large, but the beds are full sized. We will go out of our way to stay here.
This hotel is wonderfully located just off of 400 with several restaurants, i.e. California Pizza Kitchen, Ruby Tuesday, Chick-Fil-A within very easy walking distance as is North Point Mall. There's a Target and several other retailers within a mile or less.
I arrived after 10pm, front desk buzzed me in promptly. Check-in was quick and efficient. Front desk quite courteous. Room was clean, spacious and well appointed. I stayed in a ground floor room near the rear entrance, very quiet. Hotel is convenient to Alpharetta mall, with plenty of dining option nearby. For the lprice, room was nicer than expected, Overall, a perfect location for my stay.
Pleasantly surprised at the wonderful value for the moderate price in a corporate higher end neighborhood. Tremendous service with very warm, friendly and competent young desk staff. All was good with no disappointments. The Steak n Shake next door for 24 hour eats was a bonus as well
We have stayed at this hotel several times when seeing concerts at Encore Park. The area is convenient for dining and getting to & from the concerts. The hotel experience is a little above average. Our room was clean and the rate is affordable. The microwave & fridge are convenient. The internet connection is very poor; almost dial-up speed. On our most recent visit, we had extremely loud neighbors who blared the TV at all hours, obviously yelled at each other when they talked, and had an uncontrollable screaming child. Needless to say we didn't get much rest.
