A La Quinta traveler |
When I am in the Galleria location, I always choose this hotel and have done so for the past 8 years. The location provides easy access for my daytime business needs and allows great dining and shopping choices for evenings and weekends. Since the location is right on the access road, I do not have to battle traffic to reach the location and there is always ample parking. A bonus for me is that once I check in, I make my way to the interior courtyard around the pool and the landscaping is so lush and mature that I feel secluded from the hustle and bustle of work and can relax.
Besides the location, my second favorite thing about this hotel is the service. Day or night, those who work here are providing 5-Star service!
Another thing worth noting is the recent remodel. I was glad to see all of the updates during this visit!
Enjoyed my stay overall. The two bedroom deluxe suite is great! One mishap was when one of the elevators went out one evening and I would like to see a meat item included in the breakfast menu. Great location. Only ten minutes from the Galleria mall. I even found the route to avoid the freeway to the mall. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very clean, comfortable and excellent customer service! I found two things about the breakfast that I didn't like, but was not enough to hurt my stay. The fruit salad was no fresh, but caned; and the coffee was weak. Still a good breakfast a good variety of items...
Great location also! right next to the freeway, Galleria Mall and easy access to many attractions.

I recently stayed at the La Quinta Inn Galleria Area. The customer service was great. The woman that I checked in with was super friendly and after a full day of travel and then a trade show, it was nice to be greeted by a smiling friendly face. The room was comfortable but in need of some updates. Some higher thread count sheets would be nice. The bathroom was also in need of some updating. Non of this is enough to deter me from returning though and in their defense, they did have a sign posted that they would be doing renovations. Lastly, the breakfast options could use a few additional gluten free options but again, I'd still stay here again.
The hotel room itself was nice. Very clean, nice and big, and the bed was comfortable. The staff is a bit inept though. Luckily we didn't need them for too much but when we did call it was a lot of ummms and I'm not sure about that.
