We booked on Priceline, and were very pleased to get the La Quinta. The room was large and clean and looked as if it had been renovated recently. The breakfast area had plenty of room, with nice food choices. The pool area and grounds looked inviting and well kept. We wished we had brought our bathing suits! Overall, a very pleasant, satisfactory stay.
When arriving in Sherman, Tx. the hotel was easy to find. This was our second time to stay at a La Quinta, the last was many years ago. What an improvement. The check in was quick and easy. Our room, a king, was beautiful, clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom was spotless. Overall, we had a stress-free stay at the La Quinta Sherman which made our visit with family for our grandson's graduation a pleasure. Thank you La Quinta.

We stayed at this hotel on Saturday, May 25th, 2013.
Our room was on the 4th floor and was clean and neat. Amenities in the room include:
coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and board, flat screen TV and WIFI. There was NO safe or refrigerator in our room.
The included breakfast was fairly typical and just average.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The most notable thing about this hotel to us was the paper-thin wall which allowed us to hear an ordinary conversation in the next room.
Employees were courteous and professional, The rooms were spacious and very clean.great hotel. Staff went out of the way to book me a hotel using my points card, even though it was past normal hours. My family slept great and not having to check out till noon was a nice touch too.
This was an average hotel. Nothing outstanding. I do think the coffeemakers are awful. I also do not like the paper cups for making coffee. The stay was fine, and the staff was friendly. Probably for a town this size, this is a normal LQ. I've stayed in much nicer LQs.
