La Quinta, they're pretty reliable all over the country and I've stayed at quite a few from Austin to California and back, but, this particular location is my favorite. I like the feeling of the pool, which is surrounded by the hotel, and beautiful landscaping. The pool is a nice non square non circle shape and the walkway around it is shaded here and there by trees that overhang the sidewalk and as the sun travels the sky, the hotel itself provides even more shade. In the summer, this is a real plus. I'm an insomniac and I often roam the walkways poolside and I have seen some cool tree frogs in the wee hours. Ask for a room poolside if you're inclined. For your dogs, there is some green space surrounding the hotel, plus, it's kinda fun to walk with them around the Domain. What my dogs really like though, is to go to the parking garage next door after 6 p.m. weekdays or on the weekends anytime when it's empty and let them run free! They love it! The staff here is really nice and will accommodate to the best of their ability. For this price point at this location and for a dog friendly hotel that doesn't charge extra for your dogs, I highly recommend La Quinta in general, but this location specifically is better than the rest.

When traveling, my family often uses La Quinta Inns because they have rewards. This is the most attractive La Quinta I've been to. The lady at the desk told us that they have been there for fifteen years but have had a recent remodel. The rooms were spacious, the pool was gorgeous, and the breakfast area was very accomadating. Many La Quintas have odd shaped eating areas where you feel packed in with other guests but their's was open and roomy and the decor was very nice.

The location of this property is great because it is right next to the new Whole Foods and The Domain shopping center. The hotel needs to be remodeled so it can attract better clientele to the property. While we were there the front desk staff was horrible and didn't give me my requested room until I stood in front of them for a while and magically my requested room became available. It was 7pm at night. Also there were people around us smoking in non smoking rooms and nothing was done to fix the problem. I will never stay here again, I will be staying at Springhill Suites and Hampton Inn which are just across Mopac from La Quinta.

This was one of the best La Quinta's I've ever seen. Great staff, clean rooms and building, roomy workout room, and excellent breakfast. It's next to shopping and several restaurants. Great place for the entire family.

The hotel was nice and clean and the rooms were clean and spacious. The only negative we had was the pool area. At night there wasn't enough lighting to watch our kids in the pool. Other than that we had a nice stay.
