"Gives La Quinta a Bad Name"
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

We have stayed at a number of La Quinta Inns without any issues before but this was the worst by far. The a/c does not cool or run more than a few minutes before it shuts off. We changed rooms with the same result. Hotel was very old and run down but in a convenient location. We traveled with two small dogs who enjoyed snooping around the floor and under the bed snacking on old popcorn and who knows what else before we picked them up and then got on our hands and knees to clean the floors ourselves. It was midnight and were on our second room so we decided not to try a third room. Definitely not worth the $100 they charged for the room. Very disappointing . . .

"Good Stay"

LOVE how there is no pet fee, love the King sized bed and they dont charge extra per adult. The rooms are clean and service is good. My husband and our two kids stayed here (actually here now) and we enjoy it. The pool is good, rooms are good, service is good, price is good...IDK if they have weekly rates. I wouldnt wanna stay here for a week if it was gonna be $700 or more. I only say that because my husband has been working out of town lately and so we worry about what weekly rates are. We go to a lot of hotels!

"not worth the price"

we stopped here on the way home, and this place is definitely not worth the price. No discounts for truckers, however, they did have plenty of parking, BUT, it you're going to charge $100 for a room, give a person a $100 room. Sink barely drained, toilet barely flushed, teeny tiny coffee pot that wouldn't work, older hotel, the only thing in the room that was nice was the flat-screen tv. Just not a $100 room, should've been closer to about $60. The continental breakfast sucked too. It was clean, however Not worth the charge.

"Ok for a stop over"
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Stop here on our trip across Texas. We needed a pet friendly hotel and chose this one. It is an older hotel and the rooms are a little dated but overall comfortable. Bathrooms are small but that didn't really matter to us. Room was clean and we were on the back of the hotel and couldn't hear any noise. Decent value for what you get and easy location off the highway. We would stay here again but only for a stop over with a pet.
