Last night we stayed in Mansfield, Ohio at a LaQuinta which seems to be a newer one than this one, but that is fine. We bus travelers had help with our larger suitcases, in fact, ours were sitting in the room when we got upstairs with our overnight ones. I like the plastic attachment to the desk for plugging in my laptop and other features are good--we even have two bottles of Diet Cola in the refrigerator! We were somewhat amused to find the same four photos in a wall display--very pleasant, and a change from still lifes. We know from this morning's breakfast that it will be substantial and enjoyable.

Pro's: The room was clean, as were the linens. Cons: The toilet had to be flushed twice every time, even if you held down the handle, and the sink didn't drain. There were very few accessible electrical outlets in the room, and most didn't work. On checkout, I mentioned these things to the clerk so that the deficiencies could be fixed prior to the next occupant, but she barely listened, which made me wonder how many times they had been reported previously. I had also asked for an 8:30 shuttle ride to the airport 45 minutes ahead of time as instructed and the desk clerk wrote it down, yet when we came downstairs 5 minutes early, the shuttle was getting ready to pull off without us and the clerk told me to run to stop it. Based on our experiences, I would not recommend this hotel.

Generally happy with LaQuinta sleep facilities, and as usual a good bed and room set up. But on day one, I was confronted by a con man beggar in the parking lot, day two found a roach in the bedroom and even though we asked for and received a room on the front side of the hotel, the noise from busy Briley Parkway was noticeable. Checked out a day early and will not be back to this location.

Great location away from heavy commuter traffic. Very close to popular Nashville tourism destinations. Room was nice, had a balcony. Only issue was that the wifi wouldn't connect to any devices in our room. Went to the lobby to establish a connection to a weak signal which dropped frequently. Breakfast was good & parking lot was well lit at night. Outdoor pool looked nice, but we did not use it. Great stay for a family traveling with pets.

The room that I was given was on the Interstate side....you could hear the traffic roaring outside the window of my sixth story room! If you're a light sleeper, forget about getting any sleep! Also, I called a couple of days before checking in to inquire if the room had a refrigerator in it and was told by the front desk staff that the room I was assigned to did not have a refrigerator. Imagine my surprise when my room DID have a refrigerator! The front desk staff needs to be more aware of what the rooms does and doesn't have in them. The floor in my room was filthy with lots of spots in between the beds. The hotel could invest in a carpet shampooer. The continental breakfast was lacking - they ran out of food both days. I couldn't even eat at the hotel before hitting the road the second day. Granted it was busy with the CMA Music Fest in town, but the hotel should have planned ahead and had extra staff and extra food - the Hispanic lady that was working the area was working as hard as she could! This hotel was VERY substandard to what my company normally books me in, and I guess it was because they couldn't find me a room in the hotels that I normally stay in when I travel to Nashville.
