I visited Arizona for 4 days and needed a place to stay in Phoenix. The price along with other reviews is what attracted me to this hotel. Not to mention, the free WiFi. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. I arrived several hours before check-in and they were nice enough to find a room for me and allow me to check in. The location of this hotel is approximately 15-20 minutes to downtown. I also really liked having the nice shopping center (Bell Towne Retail Center) within a 5 minute drive. Having the interstate right next to the hotel was VERY convenient as well. The breakfast was decent. I had an assortment of muffins, an apple, and cereal. The space for the breakfast area is rather small. There were lots of families with kids that occupied pretty much every table. Lots of others seemed to hang out in the pool and the hot tub. This may be bothersome for others but for myself I found the property to be pretty quiet/low-key which is what I needed.

Recently renovated this La Quinta is in a prime central location for most of North Phoenix's attraction or business endeavors. Located near Metro Mall and the 17/101 shopping center and Wet n'Wild.. we were able to reach our fun spots within 10 minutes of each other. We enjoyed our weekend getaway and now two weeks later we'll be attending a business class that so conveniently is being held at this La Quinta location. Thank you for the new decor and furniture.

Although this is an older property it has a nice welcoming feel to it and seems to be well maintained. Desk staff very attentive, even remembered my name when I came in later to get a second room for a business associate. Spacious lobby, nice pool area, pretty landscaping, comfortable rooms. Includes breakfast which is the usual waffles and cereal, adequate but nothing special. Only complaint is that it was a bit noisy at night especially the ice machine just outside our room, which dumped loads of cubes all night long. But the positives made up for that, we would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay from the time I got there to the pool maintenance and the new remodel to the rooms i would deathly say that again and tell my friends we planned future trips there who stayed there about 10 times before and we are on the rewards thank you

Nice spacious property with grassy areas between buildings; curvy sidewalks/paths; nice outdoor lamps- single story guest rooms; great area; very close to Hwy. 17 but not so close to hear any traffic noise. Close to stores I was looking for such as Burlington Coat Factory, K Mart and Kohl's. Easily drove to downtown Glendale - some interesting spots there such as the German Restaurant with indoor AND outdoor seating;large antique and homefurnishings store directly across the street; and a wonderful vintage clothing store. Upon asking the front desk clerk for recommendations of where to eat; I tried a Texas Roadhouse and LOVED IT! Great atmosphere, VERY FRIENDLY bartenders (male and female), fabulous ribs - doesn't get much better. The appetizer size of ribs was ample for a meal - it included one side; I chose salad - which was very generous in size. Pool area has nice overhead shaded seating area with tables and chairs for those who prefer shade. Very friendly front desk staff; all round HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Including self serve breakfast has many choices, including several with protein such as peanut butter (with toast); boiled eggs; yogourt. Fresh fruit, pre-packaged flavored oatmeal ready to eat with hot water and milk.
