A La Quinta traveler |
My stay at the Salida La Quinta, was what I have grown accustom to. I consistently have a good experience every time I stay at a La Quinta Hotel no matter which one I stay at. If there was a down side to this hotel it would be the pool/spa area it was way to small for the size of the hotel. We are about to travel across the country and I am booking La Quinta all the way.
We stayed at the La Quinta for one night after a minor league baseball game. It's right off of the highway, so the location is great. It's a quiet spot, and is pretty much a no-frills stay. The beds were comfortable, the internet was free, and the bathroom was clean - exactly what we expected.
The complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious - make-your-own waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit and juices were available. The breakfast ends at 9 a.m., which we thought was a bit early. It would have been nice if it were available until 10 a.m., as we were scrambling to get down to the lobby before 9. The employees were very nice and accommodating. Overall, a great stay.
Second time I stayed here. They accept pets, no problem. And have a separate section of the hotel for smokers. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast with hot food: waffles, eggs, has browns and sausage, along with cold cereal, rolls, danish, etc. Next to the almond factory, which is noisy. But, the windows are very soundproof. Clean room and bath. Comfortable bed.
Not bad if you are driving the boring 99 highway in California. Room was clean, bed was firm but not hard. Free parking,breakfast and newspaper.and not far from small restaurants, It was quiet and not far from highway. The desk clerks were professional. Had coffee and tea all night in the lobby. They had a small store in the hotel.
Very clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Pet friendly. Very good free breakfast and the eating area was very clean and large. There is a Chinese food restaurant across the parking lot that is one of the best we have encountered. The bed was great. No road noise at night very quiet location. This is a Hotel that we will be returning to every time we come this way.
