A La Quinta traveler |
My favorite thing about La Quinta is that they are extremely pet friendly! Once I learned that La Quinta allows pets without charging an additional pet deposit they have been my hotel of choice when I travel.
The staff at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Modesto Salida were extremely friendly. It's reasonably located and there are a few restaurants and a just a stone's throw away.
The hotel was quite clean. About the only negative I have is the continental breakfast is nothing to write home about. but, for a quick on the go meal, it'll do in a pinch.
Great stay for the money. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. Breakfast included was standard "quick breakfast" with waffles, sausage, eggs, etc. Very tasty. I will stay there again next time I am in the area. I particularly liked that they offer a Military discount. (And others, too, of course), but it shows that they "Support the troops".
Staff went beyond call of duty to make our stay a good experience. I have to say for the price, comfort, staff, rooms, security is excellent. We had over 20 family members stay there for a reunion and everyone was very happy with their stay. I would suggest that they have more highchairs for the n little ones available for their morning breakfast.

Nice room. Took the $1.50 upgrade to the executive room. Huge desk and recliner. Hot breakfast included sausage & eggs and u-cook waffles. Large breakfast room. Within 100 yards of several fast food, sandwich, and sit-down restaurants. Just far enough from the freeway so you can see it but not hear it. Secure location, friendly staff.
I have stayed at La Quinta Modesto/Salida and each time it has always been a great experience. The Young lady that checked me in is also pleasant and always remember me from previous visits even if it's been over a month.
I love the Wednesday night food service and the breakfast in the morning is great.
Can't beat the prices.
The beds are very comfortable.
overall, great experience.
