We stayed here for two nights with our dogs. The room was large, overlooking the pool. It had a microwave and refrigerator. Flat screen TV and a king size bed. The parking was convenient and the location of the hotel itself was located near the town. A pretty darn nice breakfast was served as well as a wine happy hour. We were pleased and would return.
This hotel is in an ideal location for reaching all the surrounding wineries and local establishments. The included continental breakfast was a nice start to each day and had a large variety of options. The hotel was clean and quiet. The cost seemed a bit high but we were there on a holiday weekend. The pool and hot tub were nice. The exercise room was a bit on the small side and may not accommodate everyone's needs. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and all of us stated that we'd stay at this hotel again.
Two things I always look for: (1) a comfortable bed, and (2) qualtiy linens and towels. Those were first rate. Great location - convenient location to the Paso Robles wineries. Clean and modern. Everything "worked". Wish it were more in the $90-$120 range but maybe those days are over. Coffee was not so great. so we went to Starbucks, but I'm a coffee snob:).
We stayed at La Quinta Paso Robles for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Staff was great, and went out of their way to help us map out our travel plans. We stayed in a suite which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, with many, many items to choose from including biscuits with gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage and a wide variety of breads and pastries. I would highly recommend this hotel with only one caution: if you do not like dogs or are allergic, La Quinta (any La Quinta) is not the place for you. We love dogs, so all was great with us.
All staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Rooms very clean and quiet. Full breakfast was excellent. Wine tasting was a special treat with way above average wine and cheese compared to what other hotels have offered in the past. Victor, the GM, hosted the wine tasting himself, knows a lot about wine and helped make the experience special. Would stay here again for sure if in the area. I have traveled a lot and this is one of the best and quite new.
