Warm welcoming staff, ultra nice lobby, and comfy beds. Only real complaint is that the room layout was a bit clunky as I had to step around and through some things to get to the door....might not be a good thing in the event of a fire. Could be too that I just got an odd room. Next time I stay I'll be requesting a different room, but I will stay again as the prices were decent. Views of the city not bad and breakfast was decent.
Very happy with my stay. Easy access from/to I-40. Price good. Only thing I didn't like was I can't eat wheat and there weren't many options for me. Staff was great. Ordered delivery from local restaurant which was very convenient.
Hotel was very modern and upv to date.Beds are very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. Must have had 300 channels on a direct TV system in room. Brerakfast was limited to small muffind, small bagels ,toast and sausage but everything was very fresh. Would definitely stay here again.
Three of us stayed in this hotel for one night. We all agreed that we had a very good night's sleep, but would be wary of staying again. The staff was very friendly and the beds very comfortable, but the room was dirty. I stepped into the shower, turned on the water, and realized I had forgotten soap. So I stepped out to get soap, and saw that my footprints in the shower were back. The carpet must be REALLY dirty.
One of my friends and I walked down the street to eat and when we returned a police officer drove thru the parking lot to look at our cars. He mentioned in the conversation that this area was one of the worst in town, and that thefts of cars and thefts from cars were commonplace. Fortunately, we didn't have any problems, but this is apparently not a very safe area.
This LaQuinta is very clean and nice---but----as my daughter drove to it she commented that the surrounding area was NOT good---she didn't sleep well knowing that her car was fully packed and her dog needed to go out before bed. She was properly prepared as she took the dog out.
She just wasn't as happy with this one where it was as compared to the one going west on I 40.
She wished she had booked that one again but thought she would rather stay on east I 40 rather than turning and going the other way to the hotel on West I 40.
