New & very clean room in a great location. Staff was very friendly. Quiet at night. Texas-shaped waffles for breakfast! Clean dining room. Check in was fast. Check out was fast. Beds and pillows were very soft
We always choose this particular LQ for our bimonthly trips to Dallas. The location is just 35 miles from Dallas and is the perfect meeting spot to pick up our grandkids. The new renovations are wonderful and the staff have become our favorites too! In summary...they are AWESOME!!
We stayed at this LaQuinta and were disapointed. I work remotely and work until 11. I believed the check out time was noon. We put the do not disturb sign on the door at 8am so the maid would know we had not checked out yet. at 9:30 a repair man wanted in the room to fix something. At 10 the maid "just double checked" if we were still in the room. At 10:50 The person at the front desk knocked and asked if we were leaving yet! My husband had already packed our stuff on the cart and was just waiting for me to finish working. We were out by 11:05 and when I checked out I apologized for not realizing check out was 11. the person at the front desk was not outwardly rude, but close.
The 'breakfast" was contentintal at best, not much healthy food to choose from.
Very nice stay. Staff was super friendly. Didn't much care for the Buddha stuff tho. Location was great. Nice and quiet. Easy access too al stores and shopping.
When we made reservations it was for four people however we had to ask for towels as there only two in the room.
I always travel with my own bedding due to cleanliness issues. For once I did not use my own sheets on the bed!

The main thing I am upset about is that the website says check out is at 12. I got a call from the front desk at 10:55 asking if I was checking out because check out was at 11. That did not give me time to confirm online again that I was right. The breakfast is sub par. I knew there was going to be no protein but I did not expect that the pastries were little debbie cakes. I felt like I was being watched by the gentleman at the front desk while I ate. I also had to call the front desk to get the Wi-Fi password. To sum it up I only paid $65 for the night, the room wasn't terrible but it definitely an older hotel with limited amenities, like an elevator!
