"Good for a Stop-over"

We were a group of 10 that stayed here for one night after a Mariners Game. My wife & I got the room on the bottom floor right next to the registration desk. This concerned me a bit as I thought it may get a bit noisy. I was wrong the room was nice and quiet and the bed (king size) was very comfortable. The room and washroom were clean although they did skimp on the toiletries. There is a breakfast provided in the mornings and it was a pleasant surprise; eggs, sausages, bagels, toast, cereal, juice & coffee. Couldn't ask for much more. We didn't use the pool or any other amenities so I can't comment on that but if you are just passing through this is an inexpensive clean place to stay and close to the freeway. No complaints from any of us. Handy for what we needed and we would use it again next year.

"Great Place to Stay !"

We had a great 5 night stay here. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was great and always ready early which I love ! It's a great location too ! Close to the interstate so easy to get where ever we wanted to go. We had a coffee shop just across the parking lot so I could get my fill of Seattle Coffee (Americano's are my favorite) My daughter moved to the area so we will return to this hotel when we come to visit her !

"Over priced"

We had been driving back from Vancouver and were planning the following day to spend in the Seatle at the Pike Market. We had driven around that evening trying to find a family steak house to eat at and on the 4th try we finally found one. when we finished eating we knew the next item was a hotel to stay for the night. Already tired of all the driving we got lucky or so we thought as across the street was LaQuinta and a Marriott. We went for the LaQuinta first and did go ahead and stay for $160 a night. There were 4 of us and honestly for that price we could had stayed in downtown Seatle and been closer to the action. The lobby area is dated and they did offer a free continental breakfast. We were on the 2nd floor the rooms were adequate for a LaQuinta. It appeared the bathtub hadn't really been cleaned as I did find pubic hairs in the back. We therefore opted to only take showers after rinsing the tub out. The room did smell of smoke when we had asked for a smoke free room. The beds seemed to sink in the middle and were way too soft. You can hear your neighbors through the thin walls and there was a sign posted on the door about if too noisy they will kick you out without a refund. The next day the breakfast rocked, they had homemade scramble eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles and cereal and juice. Overall for a place to rest your head and take a shower this place is way over priced the only positive thing about this place was the free breakfast. We probably could had stayed at the Marriott for the same amount of money and got a cleaner room.

"Decent Enough"

My family was going to be in the Seattle area for the weekend and my sister booked this hotel for the group of us. I thought the location was convenient, close to fast food, regular restaurants, the mall and a Fred Meyer for groceries or essentials. The lobby and the staff at the front desk were nice. The elevators were small and one was out of order off and on throughout our three day stay. The pool area was larger than most hotel pool areas I've been to recently and it had an outdoor seating area which was a nice touch. The hot tub was ok, the jets shoot up instead of in, so if you like sitting in a tub of really warm, bubbly water, but no relaxing jets massaging your back, this is the tub for you. The room had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were not. Why don't hotels have better pillows?!? I usually bring my own, but had forgotten it. The only other thing I didn't like was the vanity area, or lack of it. No room for anything. I don't like having to go through a morning or evening routine, make up, hair, etc...and have to put everything back in my bag every time because three other people have stuff to put there too *sigh*. Even though this hotel didn't wow me, I had a pleasant stay and would probably stay again.

"Bad luck or bad management?"

This has been my go to place when I'm in Lynnwood. However, after my last visit, I might have to rethink this.' Spend two nights here, one night was fine and then when I came back for the second night.... terrible. The second night they put us in the same room we had previously. I thought everything would be fine. Wrong!. First, around 10 my husband decided to take a nice hot, relaxing bath. Well, first he couldn't get the faucet to turn on and then when we did get it turned on we couldn't get it to shut off. After calling the front desk and being put on hold, calling back only to to told to wait... we waited over 45 minutes for someone to come and help us. Finally, someone came and was able to get the tap turned off. So after waiting for 45 minutes, there was precious little hot water left. So we had to wait for it to warm up. Finally my husband was able to take his bath. After that he made the mistake of flushing the toilet. Huge water overflow. He started mopping up with the towels and I again tried to contact the front counter. I called and called and called. Finally after about 15 minutes someone answered, telling me they were on their own. I explained to her that the toilet was broken and they needed to send someone. My husband by that time had sopped up most of the water. He went down and picked up more towels. We tested the toilet to see if it was useable only to find that again it started shooting water everywhere. Once again my husband mopped up the water. He went back down to the front and told them they needed to get someone in to fix the toilet. So, by now it's well past 11 and now they have decided to give us another room. So we packed up and went down the hall only to find that the bed in this room was well past it's expiry date. Saggy, broken down and it didn't even fit the frame. So needless to say we didn't get much sleep. In the morning I went down to get breakfast only to find that many of the breakfast items where gone and the tiny room was overcrowded. Did I mention that one of the two elevators was not working. Well I went to check out and had to ask to speak to the manager (who wasn't there). The clerk got him on the phone, and I relayed again the horrors of the previous night. After too long of a conversation he said he would give a discount of the room. He actually comped the whole thing... and so he should but by this time I had a real bad taste in my mouth for the whole establishment. I won't be back for quite some time, until I'm reassured that they have their act together and have hired more staff. Be warned and avoid Room 217 and 201.
