We stayed here for my daughter's 10th birthday while we visited Wild Adventures. We booked through hotels.com and I guess that was our first mistake. When we arrived at the hotel we waited for 30 minutes, behind 2 complaining guests, one with a leaky room and the other with no sheets on their bed. I knew this wasn't going to be good. There was no record of my reservation, even though I had a printout with a confirmation #. The desk clerk seemed unphased and told me to call hotels.com. So now, I had to step out of line and call hotels.com to sort out the mess. When we finally got checked in after waiting 25 more minutes we got to our room and there was no pull out sofa bed for our 3rd child. They rolled in a nasty cot with a torn blanket. This was supposed to be a birthday get a way for our family and it was extremely disappointing!
What a GREAT La Quinta, newly renovated, great prices, clean and FREE....did I say FREE Happy hour....of course we tipped.
So pet friendly...you couldn't ask for a better place to stay!

We stopped here for the second straight year on our way north from Florida, and like most LaQuintas, this LQ doesn't disappoint. It's quiet, well maintained, the breakfast was outstanding (maybe the best selection of items we've seen for a long time), and the front desk was very friendly. Lodging rates seem to have gone up this past year at a lot of motel chains, but we thought this one was still pretty reasonable -- good value, but you'll get the best rate by reserving online (the guy checking in ahead of me found that out). We'll be back.
Stayed at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Valdosta Georgia on our way to Florida. It is the second time that we have stayed at this facility because they are pet friendly.....although you'd never know it by the rooms or lobby. Very clean and odor free. Have a nice pet walking area. Both stays have been very nice and will stay there again. About two blocks from a Cracker Barrel. Yum!
Our regular stop to and from Florida. The cocktail hour is especially nice. They actually seem to enjoy the pets that are always welcome. The room are spotless, if a little over furnished.
Love this place and will definitely be back in Dec.
