We stayed at the La Quinta Inn six years ago...what a difference now! Semis were parked on the lawn just to fit in the parking lot. Others were taking up several of the limited parking spaces. The hotel is run down. The base molding in the bathroom were primed 1x2's! The breakfast was severely lacking. The stay wasn't horrible but I looked longingly at the hotel across the street.
Very honest staff/management. I left my purse on the bed and was gone 2 hours before I realized it. The room was cleaned and the bed straightened. My purse remained untouched. I find that kind of honesty so very rare. The maid even apologized to me for not changing the sheets because my purse was on the bed and she did not want to touch it! I am so thankful for her honesty!!!
The La Quinta Inn was the right choice for a one night stop in El Dorado.
Easy checkin; comfortable room; a good continental plus breakfast eaten by the pleasant poolside in the morning; a wonderful Mexican restaurant nearby for dinner; and a good lawn to walk the dogs.
After a restful evening, we were ready to continue out travels the next morning. The La Quinta Inn hit the spot!
Every La Quinta that I have stayed at have been perfect and this one is no exception. The front desk clerk was great, the room was great, tv fantastic, wifi fast...and there was truck parking for probably 3 trucks. It was also within walking distance of a fantastic Mexican restaurant.
while on a business trip in Arkansas, north of El Dorado my truck died and left me on the side of the highway. Once the wreaker truck driver found me and towed me and my truck back to El Dorado he asked me were to drop me at , I saw the La Quinta and had him drop me there. I was greeted with a smile and after checking in the lady at the desk gave me a bottled water and a small bag of cookies and at 10:30 pm after all I'd been through it was the best thing anyone could have done sometimes its the little thing that mean the most. I will always stay at the La Quinta there when I'm up that way..
