I stood at this hotel for a night and it was great the service was awesome and the room was very clean also a nice indoor pool room was very clean came with microwave and a iron looking to go back soon
About a year ago my house was being renovated & I had to stay at a hotel for 2 weeks. La Quinta was the most affordable. It was a pleasant stay because I felt as if I were in my own home. After my stay I knew I would return for a weekend & I did this weekend with my daughter. I had a nice time like always at La Quinta. The staff is very helpful, friendly, & regardless they always have a smail on their face. La Quinta is a great place to stay with your family. Its clean, cozy & comfortable. My kids love the pools,jacuzzi, the rooms with the flat screen tv. As always I enjoyed myself.
We had to stay here because it was the only one left on a special rate list we have, so we got a great rate for the area. This was definitely a plus!
They have free breakfast which is average (bagels, waffles, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice.) The coffr was horrible, but everything else was ok. It's a good thing to have if your traveling on a budget.
Rooms are clean, not REALLY clean, but average. They really.need to put new carpets throughout the hotel. It's old and dirty and creates an awful smell around the lobby area.
Location is good though. Lots of nearby restaurants. The willowbrook mall (i think that's the name) is minutes away and there are alot of restaurants there too.
We were on a tour so we had to stay. The air conditioning was not working.....We had to change rooms 3 times until we could find an air conditioner that would work. The sheets and towels were clean. The carpet really need to be replaced especially in the hallways. It's wavy and worn. The breakfast was typical. It was OK not totally unbearable but close to it. If I had a choice I would not go back.
Between the proximity to I-80 and walls that provided no impediment to sound transmission, the noise level in our room made it sleep a tenuous prospect. We could hear both the adjacent TV and the guests talking nearly as clearly as if they were in the same room.
The condition of the room wasn't as bad as the disrepair of the hallways would lead you to expect. I'm not sure if that counts as a positive.
The room was about average for a hotel at this price range, which unfortunately was the only property available in the area at any price. Unless you need background noise for a restful night sleep, I'd suggest skipping this place and finding somewhere a but more quiet.
