Loved how clean this hotel/room was. Everything clean and fresh. Room was good size. Bath was larger then most hotels. Not far off of 90. On and off very close. Restaurants were not that close though. Staff were very nice. Overall a great place to stay after all day driving. We will stay again.
Excellent value, was a Saturday night while University of Wisconsin on summer break. A little off the beaten track but not hard to get to from I 90. Would highly recommend, prices can jump during workweek and if U of W sports weekend
Husband and I have stayed in Madison many times, mostly for Badger sporting events. We had never stayed at a LQ before. This trip was a shopping trip for two sisters. We both really liked the hotel, our check-in was easy, and the check-in attendant very friendly and welcoming.
Our room was on a higher floor as requested, and a very nice two-room suite. Breakfast was fine, we never expect a gourmet breakfast, it's made for guests that are departing. I realize that people have pets, and need hotels that will accomodate them, but I am not a fan of seeing pets wandering around in hotel lobbies, even on a leash. That is just a personal thing. The other slight negative, is that the roads in this business park are a bit winding, can get confusing especially at night. That said, we would definitely stay here again. Very well priced, and as good as any other hotel in the area.
This was a great stay......no problems or issues, except the breakfast of course. LQ's "Bright Side Breakfast" has actually become one of the worst I've experienced. Its Gross!!!! I gave it to my dog and he even turned away. I suggest when you check in to a LQ......ask where you can get a good breakfast in the neighborhood.
Have stayed at this La Quinta for about three years now, for a weekend get-away. We have always been treated very well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well kept, clean and comfortable. The indoor pool is a plus and the breakfast satisfying. We have never been tempted to stay elsewhere when visiting Madison.
