first time at a La Quinta Inn. Great breakfast. Pet friendly with no extra charge. easy on/off at I-75 ramp. Overall a great experience. The rooms had everything we needed and good access for two lap top users. Service was friendly and helpful. The pool area was enjoyed by those in our party.
The hotel was clean, wi fi was fast and reliable, the breakfast was good. There were several quality places to eat very close to hotel. My only complaint was the bed was hard and uncomfortable. It could be I'm spoiled by my bed at home, but I had a hard time sleeping.
We have stopped here twice on our way north. Clean rooms with great beds, good sized rooms, and a good breakfast for the road. There is a Ruby Tuesday and Cracker Barrel across the road. Great value for the money.

From the outside the hotel is it's normal 3 star, economical hotel. Staff was super friendly and the lobby was comfortable and seemed well taken care of. We even spotted the GM directing staff to fix issues with the tiling on the floor. Checked in, got to room and immediately dropped our stuff off, left the dog in the room and went downtown to the aquarium. When we returned that evening we took our sandals off and also took our toddlers shoes off in preparation to shower and head to bed. Our toddler walked on the carpeted floor barefoot for no more than 5 minutes and her feet were solid BLACK, nasty, grundy black (she had been in socks all day and her feet were clean for the record). She also happened to open one of the bedside drawers and found lotion, used lotion (I squirm at the germs that were on that bottle). It's obvious there is a lack of knowledge as to how to properly clean a hotel room. I also want to note that I moped the floor of the bathroom with your towels, since obviously the floor had not seen a mop since its opening. The housekeeping of this hotel is terrifying. The pool area is nice, but not worth the germs and possible dangerous bacteria surrounding this place. Bring socks, gloves, Pinesol and you might as well bring your own sheets to this place. Sorry, but the upgraded mattress, nice pool and the flat screen are no perks when you are worried about what you "left" with from this disgusting place!
We had a nice stay here. Our room was clean and cozy. The people at the front desk were very nice and very helpful. The first room they gave us really had a smokie smell to it so they moved us to another room and let us make sure it was ok before they changed us. We liked it. didnt get to check out the pool, but looked really nice and people were in there enjoying it. We were able to take our dog with us and this was nice to have her in our room with us. The breakfast was good. I liked it. Waffles, toast, muffins, cereal, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs. juice. Was plenty for us for free. We were happy.
