Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Bed was comfortable and relatively quiet considering it was a first floor room that faced the parking lot.
Continental breakfast had standard offerings: cereal, juice, waffles, pastries, muffins, etc. Eating area was pretty small.
Outdoor pool was clean and the kids really enjoyed it.
Options were offered to only change sheets every third day, but no recycling options.
My family stayed here for a softball tournament in the Chicago area. Grabbed 2 nights for $125 with tax...amazing in the area! The room was more than suitable and very clean.
The hotel staff were very courteous and kind and responsive even when we asked for a roll away at 11pm after a late game.
The big thing to note here is the bed size...it's not a queen, it's a full. The beds are tiny, but it keeps the family close. My girls were not thrilled that they had to sleep in a small bed together, but they totally survived.
The breakfast is a full carb load, but it's free and good. There were a few fruits and a yogurt selection. Again, for the price, it was amazing!
Pool is outside...and it rained, so we didn't get a chance to take a dip.
I stayed here one night while visiting my son, who lives nearby. I chose to stay here over my preferred Hampton Inn because it was $45 cheaper and I thought I'd give it a try. I have three criteria for hotels - CLEAN, QUIET, and COMFORTABLE bed.
My room was immaculate. The bed was very comfy and appeared to be a new mattress. This is most important to me since I have arthritis in my back and knees. The hotel was quiet UNTIL, at 11 pm, my neighbors across the hall decided to throw a beer bash. They were smoking, loud, and had a case of beer for each of them - SIX cases! As soon as I was aware of what they were up to, I called the front desk and told (not asked) them that I must move or I would not get any sleep. They accomodated my request without hesitation and I was switched to an identical room far away from the party. Ah, quiet bliss again! :-)
All staffers I encountered were very friendly and professional.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I told the folks upon check-in that I wanted a quiet room away from any noise - and ended up across from party central. But again, they rectified that quickly and happily.
I will return - the price was right, it was clean, quiet (ultimately), and the bed was super comfy.
Stayed two nights. The room was well maintained. Maid service was excellent. The curtains could have been thicker to block daylight in the morning. The shower head was a little low. I am 5'10" and needed to bend slightly to get under the spray. The others in my group were shorter and had no problems. Plenty of eating places very close. A IHOP is next door. For the price and location it was very good.
My husband & I had trouble finding a hotel that was pet friendly. During our search we came across the LaQuinta Inn. Call them up and to our surprise not only were they pet friendly but there was no extra charge. Room rates were cheap so I thought that hey you get what you pay for but once we arrived it was nice, clean, with a very comfy vibe. It smelled nice too which I wasn't expecting since pets are allowed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all. Can't wait to come back.
