"Doesn't get much better"

Great place, fine food close, old town Kirkland was a treat and recommended by the staff, and helpful people at every turn. Guided us to markets, around traffic problems and give us choices on how to get around town to see the most on our stay. We'll be back.
We have enjoyed our stay at Kirkland/Bellevue LaQ. The friendliness and courtesy of the employees was incredible and positive. The person attending to the morning breakfast was responsive and positive each morning, with always a positive remark with a smile. The reception was warm and welcoming.
I wish that I could go into length about my stay in April, but with the limits for reviews, it?s nigh impossible to do so. So needless to say, the hotel is in disrepair, the rooms are absolutely foul (the bathrooms are disgusting beyond all imagination down to body hair and mold in every corner), and the staff vary from helpful to rude and fighting loudly in front of guests. They need a new cleaning crew and maintenance staff (there was a potato chip in the hallway all 4 days of my stay, if that says anything), and they?ve got to update everything, including the break down elevator. The beds are awful; the carpets are the kind you can?t dream of touching with barefeet; and the rest of the furniture is falling apart. It was just awful. In the end the management refunded us 30% of our stay, and apologized after I filled out their survey. Do NOT stay here if you?re looking to relax and feel comfortable. Until they upgrade the hotel itself, it?s not worth it. However, don?t let this review make you wary of other La Quinta hotels; they seem to be unique to each other (knock wood).
"Excellent location and hotel in the Seattle area"

This is in a perfect location to stay in Seattle and go to all the adventures out there.
It is close to everything. Easy to get to, and a nice clean hotel. The staff is helpful, and can get you information on anything you would like to do. If they do not have the answer there is a computer terminal to help. We really enjoyed out stay for the first time in Seattle.
Not up to par in my book. This area has a LOT of hotel options and I have done better multiple times prior with Priceline or just looking around. Better grade of hotel and better in price too, but we had to find a pet friendly hotel this trip.
Pet area is very small but they do offer pet bags. Sadly and rudely, not everyone uses the pet bags to clean up after their dog.
Room was adequate size, I had requested a king, we got a queen, no difference in price. Bathroom was old, tub was chipped and painted over, grout was moldy and there was even mold up high in the corner of the shower. There was hair around the tub and floor as well making me wonder about the cleaning. One of the hand towels had a small blood stain on it yet was folded and set for use. Room had very few outlets for charging my phone...had to use the outlet near the sink which I do not like either. In the morning the hairdryer did not work...told the front desk who suggested we push the buttpn to reset but failed to tell us it was across the room. Regardless, they did not offer to help us. Later, however, the girl at the desk did help someone else with the same issue.
Breakfast was just ok...crowded area. Speaking of crowded...parking lot is small and not large vehicle friendly. Difficult to move around in as this property is tucked away from everything in the trees. There is only a burger place near by otherwise it is kind of isolated. Nice for a quiet sleep but not if you want restaurants or anything.
Getting there was tricky too...this hotel was off hwy 520 that is undergoing a lot of construction. Roads were cracked and bumpy. You can access hotel off exit 108 (from hwy 405) but you will not see the hotel yet. If you wait and get off at the next exit you will need to backtrack. It is in a treed area fenced off from a school of some sort I think. No one was around, so I am not sure.
If you want a quick place to sleep or NEED pet friendly, it will suffice. But like I said, not up to par for a La Quinta or any hotel of this rating in my book. At least they do not charge for pets.
