This is a very nice place to stay when visiting St. Louis, on the MO side. The rooms are larger then most, comfy beds too! The breakfast is a buffet so has the extras of eggs/waffles etc., not the standard rolls/juice you find at many hotels while traveling. Plus they are pet-friendly and will take large dogs which was a real plus! The price was very good. When I called the hotel, the price was the same as when I did a search on-line. They take AAA too so all in all, I would recommend this hotel.

It is a 3 star( may be 2.5) hotel but for the price we paid, can't complain. The rooms were clean and the TV had lot more HD channels than what you would get at a regular 4 or 5 star hotel. On the flip side, they didn't have any bath towels in their bathrooms( only hand towels) and the lobby doubles up into breakfast lounge in the morning. Hence it can get very busy with people checking in/out, kids running around with juice in their hands and while you are waiting in the line for the toaster to get free.

My wife and I travelled with 2 large dogs. Clean, spacious hotel. Ample parking. Large "relief area" for the dogs. Large room (we stayed in the king suite - well worth the extra $10.00). Good breakfast. Very pleased with this hotel!

I've stayed at the Westport La Quinta many times and have never had any issues with the customer service, cleanliness or overall stay. I find the La Quinta beds very comfortable and never have trouble sleeping or any issues with back pain the next day--which is not true for most of the other hotel chains I have tried. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the cost is reasonable.

I arrived late and left early, so I didn't get enough time here to really rate the place. Overall, it's okay. It's a place to sleep for fairly cheap and they accomplished that objective fairly well. However, I had two experiences that really soured my stay here. First, they claimed I was getting a room with 2 QUEEN beds when in fact they are FULL sized beds, considerably smaller than a queen. Second, I booked my room directly on the lq.com site and was quoted $45 a night and I printed the booking receipt. When I arrived, their system showed $55 a night. I had to physically produce my printed booking receipt to prove the lower rate. They changed the rate to $45, but I was irritated that something in their system showed a $10 increase on their end for no explicable reason. Were it not for the fact I was able to produce a print out of my booked rate, they would not have changed it. I have to wonder how many other travelers have fallen victim to that little scam because they couldn't "prove" they were quoted a lower rate. Other than that, the place is okay.
