If you're bringing a pet, this is the place to go in Gainesville. The accommodations were great. My room was clean. Didn't smell like smoke or urine which I have encountered at other hotels that allow smoking/pets. They have a nice, clean pool and the grounds are kept tidy. There is no charge for having a pet, which you will get at other places ranging from $10 - $50 per pet. And the bonus...there is a pond across the street which is perfect for walking your pet.
I am impressed by the cleanliness, and hospitality at this establishment. The standard room was large in size with 2 full size beds that were very comfortable, and a nice large desk. Plenty of room. The breakfast consisted of 2 cereals, juice, instant oatmeal, coffee with half and half, as well as milk. Also yummy waffles for you to make; fresh bananas, and oranges; boiled eggs and yogurt. We checked a lot of deals online and we felt we got a terrific price per night considering it was a college function. They have 2 suites in the front office area as well.
La Quinta Inn Gainesville served as the perfect choice for the parents of the bride and her wedding party to stay. The location is great being just a few seconds off the highway. The free breakfast was a great way to start a busy day for everyone. A nearby mall and lots of restaraunts covered our other needs through the weekend. Large clean rooms with a very fair price made this part of our wedding planning a great success.
Clean room, clean bathroom - excellent front desk service, the tv in our room wasn't working and we were immediately upgraded to a suite. Good restaurants in very close walking distance, across the street from a small lake-great for walking our dogs. Would stay here again.
Great staff, very friendly and attentive to customer satisfaction. Room was clean, breakfast was fresh and offered plenty of variety. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend the hotel to all travelers... Amazing value for the price.
