The service was excellent. The room was very clean and fairly new. My wife was surprised how nice the room was. We only stay in familiar hotels like Holiday Inn, Hilton and the like to ensure that accommodations are clean, comfortable and hassle free. We will consider La Quinta next time we travel. We will travel again in August to North Carolina and La Quinta will be in our short list when we look for places to stay there.
Chose this hotel as it was convenient for an early start the next day and just right to use my points for a free night. Very well kept, nice and comfortable rooms and very quiet even though it's close to a mall (that looked pretty empty, by the way).
Breakfast was fine and easy check-in check out.
Booked trip for 6/22-6/23 (Saturday to Sunday using calendar drop down) somehow it changed to 6/2-6/3 (Sunday to Monday). No way would I have selected check out on my birthday. Noticed that there was pending charge, checked email confirmation and that's when I saw the dates - they charged me for no show "because they held the room all night" could not confirm that they had to turn away customers. Talked with 3 people on this issue. In addition, shortly after booking, credit card was charged 1800 in OH - can't confirm it was compromised by then but the poor customer service makes me wonder. Additionally - tried to re-create issue on desktop and can't even get to the point to book a room, it keeps telling me to select a hotel.
The staff was friendly. Check in and out was handled quickly and correctly. The property was very quiet, which was a surprise so close to a mall. Everything in my room was perfectly clean and in good working order. The wifi signal was consistent throughout the visit. The public areas were in good shape also. The location itself is convenient to almost every possible service you could want on the road. The breakfast was good. There was plenty of variety of hot and cold items. The staff members kept everything clean and stocked. But don?t be late, as the staff started putting away food at 9:00 SHARP, despite almost a dozen guests still trying to serve themselves. The only other nit-pick is the high curbing and lack of ramps in the parking lot. My mother almost tripped twice and I noticed no method for a wheelchair user to get inside this property.
Overall, my first experience at any La Quinta was a good one. I don?t stay in this are too often, but I?ll return here if I do come back.
I just spent the most pleasant night stay over Memorial weekend. I had a small pet as we were competing in an International Dog Show in Chesterfield. I had never stayed at a La Quinta before. Even though we were on the fourth floor as my dog is not used to elevators I was still so pleased with everything. From the professionalism of Rebecca at the front desk to the cleanliness of the room to the comfort of the bed. I would really have to be overly picky to find something wrong with this hotel. Great location for shopping or restaurants. I love the fact that it is totally a non-smoking hotel. I would definitely stay here again and now I'm going to have to check out La Quintas elsewhere.
Ok overly picky----need softer tissue in Kleenex box.
