A La Quinta traveler |
My husband and I planned a vacation to Florida and on the way to Panama City we stayed at a hotel that the air conditioner didn't work, the surroundings were terrible and there were bugs in the bathroom. Thanks to Laquita we had a very nice hotel on the way back home! We had a wonderful stay. It was very clean, and the staff was very friendly.
La Quinta Inn in Clarksville is a great find. It is a newly renovated hotel. The rooms are clean, tasteful, and quiet. The staff was happy to see us and helpful. The TV in the room was a large Panasonic flatscreen with a great picture. The WiFi signal was strong and consistent. Breakfast was the normal free breakfast with cereal, scrambled eggs, waffles, breads, and fruit. The breakfast hours are a convenient 6 AM to 10 AM and there is plenty of seating. The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is that there are no restaurants nearby. You have to get into your car and drive to get a meal (not something I wanted to do after driving all day to get there). I would definitely stay in this hotel again on my way to and from Florida.
We stopped here on our way home from Disney World. We had the king room with a pullout sofa. Huge room! My only complaints are that we only had 1 washcloth for 3 people, the phone did not work, and the ice bucket was in the bathroom. We had a kitchenette and that is where the ice bucket should have been. Will stay again. Enjoyed the breakfast and the front desk was very nice.
Checked in late and were treated with respect and courtesy and given a good rate. Really appreciate the staff at La Quinta in Clarksville, TN. Definitely will stop there again. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept on in a hotel for a long time. Nice, clean furnishings and updated look. LOVE this hotel!
Needed a place to spend the night in the middle of a trip. Good location, a little noise from the Interstate but not bad. Nice, clean room and property. Pool looked good. The staff was very friendly, quick check-in. Breakfast was ok, on par with most places I've stayed that served hot food. Lots of places to shop or eat within 2 miles of hotel.
