This hotel was convenient and pet friendly. It was clean, staff was nice, it had a good breakfast and the room was great and we slept soundly. The hotel was very convenient to the highway , since we were only staying one night not much more I can say but if we come back thru this area it will be our number 1 choice.
My husband and I were attending our Tennessee District Council and reserved a suite with a King bed. We were so busy with the business that we were in the town for that we didn't get to spend as much time in the room as we would have liked. Best nights sleep I have had in a while. Everything was excellent!! Would stay there again! In fact, this is our 2nd time staying there.
We had a block of rooms at this hotel and they were AMAZING!! Everyone had a smile, they were friendly and nothing we asked was a problem!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Thanks La Quinta (Baxter)
Stayed one night on way to Charlotte NC. Hotel is right off of highway and easy to find. Bed was super comfortable and room was quiet. Enjoyed the standard fare hot breakfast. Only negative was the clothes closet door was broken down and completely off track. Looked a bit neglectful considering the rooms are cleaned daily and is easily noticeable. Overall though a good place to stay.
If you are going to Cookeville, this is the place to stay. This is not your average La Quinta. I like the La Quinta brand because of the value, their pet policy and their quality. This is the best La Quinta I have stayed in, and I have stayed in quite a few. The facility looks like it is new. The staff are well trained in guest relations, therefore they know their job, they are very helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast was very good. I ate a bowl of homefried potatoes, bacon and onion. My wife had sausage and eggs. There were plenty of other choices.
Cookevile has a excellent Italian restaurant; I think the name is something like "Marricios" and Marco pizza delivers. Ask the desk clerk.
