"Fantastic place for families to stay"

We stayed here for a short stay to visit Zion National Park. Springdale is a lovely town and this hotel was perfect. The rooms are specious and comfortable. The pool is a reasonable size, not too busy and it has the beautiful back drop of the mountains all around. It was very good value too. The staff were friendly. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was adequate but was served on plastic plates with limited hot food options. Also it would be useful to get breakfast before 7.00am in the summer, so you could get started earlier for longer treks. When I come back to Zion I will definitely stay here again.

"Fabulous"

Recently back from a two night stay, wish we could of stayed longer. Rooms were lovely, very clean and relatively new. They were well equipped with fridge microwave sofa etc. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice. The views are amazing and the location is absolutely perfect. Springdale has everything you could need lovely restaurants supermarkets and easy shuttle to Zion National Park. My only criticisms would be that I didn't like the disposable plates and cutlery at breakfast and no room safe. These however would not stop us returning to this fabulous Inn.

"wonderful staff"

We recently took a trip to Zion National Park and on to Reno, NV. in June. Far and away our best experience was at the LQ just outside the Zion National Park. Robert who cooked our waffles every morning started our days off with a smile and a tip on what and where to go and do. He and his wife were so delightful. What an asset they are to your business. The best breakfast selection anywhere, perfect to start an outdoor day. I hope you properly compensate them for the extra effort hey give you above and beyond their daily duties. We have sung their praises to all of our friends as an important part of our trip. They added a great deal to our memories of this trip. We stayed at 3 or 4 LQs on this trip and found them all very clean and well managed and the staff helpful. They have been well trained in their jobs and do it delightfully. The only one I have annoyance with is the one at the BWI airport. The bathrooms (mainly the sink with no shelf space) is irritating, especially since my husband like to spreads out and use all the space. There are not enough luggage carts. I think only one and they are always operating in sold out space most of the time. The breakfast room is too small to get around and the chairs are way too heavy and close together. It does not help get your day off with a smile.; I hear they your are going to remodel, so I probably will give the BWI one more chance after they remodel. There are so many other hotels to choose from in that location. The staff at BWI was wonderful, even going out of their way to watch for a cancellation to accommodate our grandchildren who were unexpectedly driving up from Florida so we could meet and go to an Orioles game.

"Great base for family visit to Zion NP"
5 of 5 stars Reviewed Jul 28, 2014

We stayed in this hotel for one night, between visits to Zion NP and Bryce Canyon, and booked a family suite. The family suite consisted of a main king-bed bedroom with a door, a separate bath, and a living area with couch, desk, TV, small fridge, and sturdy bunk bed for the kids. At check-in, we were given a choice of rooms, and offered one close to the pool when I indicated we had young kids. In-room wifi was free and reasonably fast. Not only the room but the entire property was clean, with well manicured grass and neatly laid out walkways between the guest room and pool. The pool, while crowded in the evening, offered some fun water features that our 5 y.o. and 2 y.o. enjoyed. Watching the sun set behind the cliffs above from the pool was a great experience. Breakfast at the hotel was fairly typical side-of-the-interstate suite hotel fare -- waffles, a couple of cereals, fresh fruits, some pastries, and the like. They did not have separate breakfast meats, but offered some surprisingly tasty breakfast sandwiches. Given that it was free and fresh, I had no complaints. While we had a car, the hotel is about two blocks from the free bus that will take you into Zion NP, and then a five minute ride on the bus -- very convenient for seeing the main reason for being in Springdale. There are also a number of small restaurants that are walking distance from the hotel. At checkout, the front desk already had a folio printed and waiting. I was checked out of the hotel in less than 30 seconds. On the dinner front, we were initially disappointed that the hotel did not have any lunch or dinner options, and that we could not have any food delivered to the hotel. I reflected this disappointment in my survey back to the hotel after our stay. Within 24 hours, I got a personal e-mail back from the hotel GM explaining it was a local ordinance that kept them from having food brought in, but that to fix the issue they are working to get their restaurant turned into a full service establishment in the future. I can't say I've ever had a GM reach out in that way before, but it helped me understand why the place seems so well run -- because it is, from the top down. We will without a doubt stay there again the next time we visit Zion.

"nice job La Quinta!"

Brand new hotel. Room was quiet, elegant, clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. Staff was helpful in telling us up to date information about closed trails, saved us unnecessary time in shuttle to Zion. Breakfast buffet and coffee were a class act, with coffee service starting at 5 am! Even touches down to Kokopelli wall art in the outside lighting made this place special. Total privacy from other guests in entering and leaving room due to unique room set up. Endless parking. And what I liked the most: subtle street presentation, we almost missed it coming in. We would come back again if in Springdale.
