My husband and I were guests at your Minot North Dakota hotel from May 8th thru the 12th. I congratulate you for the wonderful experience we had. The hotel is extremely nice and since we come to Minot to visit our daughter and her family we will always stay with you. This was our first stay at La Quinta but it will not be the last!!
Your staff were wonderful.Vicky and Richmond are absolutely fabulous and great representatives of your hotel. They went out of their way to see to everything we needed and made us feel like special family. I feel like I have made great friends and look forward to visiting with them again and again.
We will recommend this hotel to all our military friends as this is the BEST hotel in the area!

I recently had an extended stay in Minot as an over the road construction worker. My stay at LaQuinta was the best stay i have had to date. The staff was just phanominal. There were three staff members that went above and beyond to make the stay the best it could be. The three staff members were Justin, Sam, and the Breakfast host Milli. The maid service was great rooms were cleaned daily and they even went as far as organizing my toiletry items i had had scatter across the bathroom counter. Again this hotel and staff got above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be and make you feel at home. Which is why i say LaQuinta is the best hotel i have found to date.
Overall I would recomend this place highly, due to the oil boom in town rooms are generally more expensive, I have paid a lot more in this town for a lot less.
To start things off, the reservation over the phone was great, the gentleman taking them was very friendly. When I arrived check in was flawless, took under a minute. The young lady checking us in was very friendly and fast. They also had some warm, fresh baked cookies on the counter for the taking. great little treat!!
The rooms were well decorated and furnished, the bed was a bit stiff for my taste, but the bedding was very comforatble. They only complaint was the green padded chair they had in the corner, it was pretty ugly and very uncomfortable, but alas, this is my only negative.
The bathroom was kept very clean and was very spacious. The cleaning staff did a great job on the rooms and the hotel in general, despite all the visitors and oil/construction/earth workers and there muddy boots.
The breakfast layout was very nice too. lots of variety of both cold and hot food, left full and happy both mornings. Would recommend this place to anyone.
This hotel is quite acceptable. It it close to the mall and some reasonably good restaurants. There is an automatic door at the entrance which I feel is the minimum requirement for a 3 star hotel. There were 2 staff at the reception. The reception service was swift and polite, but I was not told how to find the elevator. The elevator is in an odd hidden location. Better signs would help the first time visitor find it. They have 24 hour access to the business center and the fitness rooms. This is better than many hotels. The room was clean and well decorated. The bathroom had good fit and finish. This hotel offered good value for the price. It was a pleasant stay. Recommended.
We stayed in room 204. That night we could hear a man coughing in the room next door #206, which was unusual. We thought he must have a really bad cold to cough so loud we could hear him in our room. The next morning, we could hear the shower curtain slide across the road. Then we heard the tub being filled. Then we heard the squeaking sounds of wet skin in a porcelain tub. And all these noises we heard while our TV was on! After the bath, we could hear a little child laughing and talking with her father. When I turned the TV off, I could even hear their words. This is not the kind of sound insulation I expect in a quality hotel. I cannot speak for the rest of the rooms in this hotel, but sound travels ridiculously well between rooms 204 and 206. Otherwise, the hotel is quite nice. New, clean, beds were comfortable, nice sized rooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately we will not stay here again; it freaked me out hearing my neighbours talking and thinking of them listening to us.
