The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the convenience of the bus (to NYC) stop across the street. It took about 15-20 minutes to get to NYC. The bus drops you back off right in front of the hotel at night and cost about $20 for two adults and one child (round trip). Breakfast was pretty good as well. The room was very spacious and had plenty of room for us to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay here, and the price was great!
I'll keep this short and sweet. The staff was amazing, they even had a taxi for us upon request and helped up with travel arrangments in and out of the city. Great room, very quiet and bed was very comfy as well. Even with three of us girls in one room it was large enough for everyone to get ready in the mornings. It's a quick trip into the city even with traffic and an even faster trip out of the city back to the hotel. I will be staying here again in the future for our NYC trips.
Ps, they have a bus you catch from Port Authority that literally drops you off at the front of the hotel and the cost of a bus ticket is $4. It's that easy!

Make sure guests know time off breakfast check out. I wasn't given all papers with info when checking in so we missed breakfast by 5 min the first day. Times should be given both orally and written at check in to avoid confusion. Even though I wasn't given the time at check in, front desk acted like it was my fault. I was told manager would call my room but never happened. I don't think this will be my first choice next time I come to town.
I found this hotel at Booking.com at a really good price, so I decided my husband and I should try staying outside of Manhattan for our weekend getaway. It worked out great. Free parking at the hotel was nice, and we took NJ Transit right across the street from the hotel to get in and out of the city ($3.95 per trip). Not cheap, but for a hotel of this quality, we would have paid a lot more to be in NYC. Each trip took 15-20min, from the hotel to Port Authority.
Breakfast was decent and of good variety. Nothing I can complain about.
Location of the hotel is wonderful. There is Kohl's, Toys-r-us, Walmart, TJ Max, and several restaurants like Olive Garden and Bonefish Grill all within walking distance.
Hotel room was clean, the swimming pool was only okay but good enough to swim in.
For the price, this is a good place to stay. The 320 bus runs every 15 mins into the city thru the Lincoln tunnel. If you catch the train back, which you may want to do in the afternoon because the bus gets crowded on weekdays, all you need to do is call thr hotel from Secausus junction and they will come pick you up. The pool is not heated so it was too cold to use and the air conditioners are very noisy at night when they go on, but those were the only cons. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the comp breakfast is good. It's close enough to walk to a few good restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who doesn't want to pay the ridiculous New York hotel rates. Very nice hotel.
