Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The free breakfast buffet was excellent- lots of variety including plenty of hot food. The bus into manhattan is right in front of the hotel. The hotel also provided a free shuttle within 3 miles however no problem driving yourself near the hotel to restaurants and stores.

Easy bus transfer to 42 street. ($3.95 adult, half that for kids and ss) Hotel was clean, friendly staff and full breakfast. Free Parking (we didn't move our car for the 3 days we were there) We walked to the Olive Garden 1 night for dinner (kinda across the street) Also TJ Max, Sports Authority etc across the street. WalMart nearby. All rooms are suite's. Like mentioned the a/c is noisy, but I like to sleep with noise, so no big deal. We got the room from Priceline, so the value was well worth it. Even if you pay rack rate and get the free parking, breakfast, the $8 r/t bus fare. (when you get on the bus, get a r/t ticket. Not cheaper, but on the way back you need a ticket to get on the bus. So you don't have to worry about stopping at a machine) Also, before 10 AM the buses use the outbound lane, so you get into the city in 15 minutes. Any other time, expect an hour. That seems to be the norm in the past for us.

Hands down an awesome location! We opted to drive in to NYC each day of our memorial Day Weekend stay. This was under a 15 minute drive via the Lincoln tunnel. Plenty of reasonable (or free) parking available if you do your homework. the bus looked like another great option just across the street. Hotel was clean and well cared for but showing its age a bit. Room carpet was stained and couch pillows sagging. Elevator was slow. Wifi was slow. Our first room smelled like skunk but they quickly moved us. We turned the heat on and it smelled like burning but that finally stopped. Pool was is big need of new flooring and was freezing cold during our visit. No hot tub at all. Breakfast was ok, very crowded but plenty of seating. Mostly they couldn't keep up with the fresh food and beverages, something was always empty. Despite all that we would stay again and recommend this hotel to others. A great location, price, and beautiful view of the skyline from our room made it all worth it.

Very convenient to stay here and take a $3.95 bus ride for 15 minutes to the Port Autority bus terminal in Manhattan. We have recommended this hotel to many friends and the ibcluded breakfast was very good as well!

Myself, another teacher, and 7 students recently stayed here. The reason why we chose this location was due to the trip reports, ease of transportation to and fro NYC, the cost, and the option of 5 to a room (to save on costs). Each year, my students are I plan a travel training field trip from Long Island. This hotel is perfect for our needs, and includes a free breakfast. This was our second stay, and I would stay here again. We took bus 320 from the Port Authority, and it drops you right off by the hotel. In fact, we took a very late bus , around 12:30 am, and it was absolutely no problem. Completely safe! My only complaint was the pull out couch...it was like sleeping on springs with a cover over it. Both myself and the other teacher slept on the pull out couch, and we will not do that again. It was completely uncomfortable. The breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again!
