We stayed here on August 23rd after visiting the Fresno Zoo. It was a terrible hotel, very dirty, in an unsafe neighborhood and near the train tracks. We heard sirens and the train all night long. Also at about 2 am we heard yelling and bottles breaking outside the hotel room. The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioner was one of those old and noisy swamp coolers. I was very disappointed, the only good thing was that it was cheap but we found out why. We would not have stayed except that we had already made reservations. Every other La Quinta Inn I have been to is wonderful, this one gives La Quinta Inn a bad name.
Great hotel room was clean that was very important since I traveled with my toddler and if you have one you know they like to get into everything. The only thing I would complain was their poor customer service (it takes for ever for them to answer the phone)..
I stayed here on my way to down from Seattle to LA. It seems pretty okay the night before but as I was peaking up to leave I noticed a cockroach on the wall. Gross! As I started looking around, the room really wasn't very clean. Luckily this place isn't expensive ! Be careful !
I have stayed at this hotel in July and didn't think it was awful. Definitely not great but for $65 what do you expect. This time though it was pretty gross. There is a lot of wear and tear on everything. In my room one of the biggest things I despise is HAIR! And the sink had 3 hairs in it along with hairs on the bathroom floor yet. Now I know you can't get every hair but really!? Also stains on the carpet and very dirty around the edges of carpet. I think housekeeping staff need some retraining! They do not have a computer for guests to use which is inconvenient for printing boarding passes. Did not eat breakfast because I came down to a ton of people taking up every table and lines for breakfast. (Looked like a tour group). Would not stay again unless it was my last choice...
Rooms are large with a nice desk for computer but lacks plugs. Phone didn't work to reach front desk. Beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. Bathrooms are clean but towels pretty cheap feeling. Overall, it is a great location sandwiched between IHOP and El Toritos and very easy access to Hwy 41 and Hwy 99. Price is usually below $125 so that is ok. Breakfast is ok but nothing to write home about. The usual continental stuff.
