This is a new La Quinta and I give it high marks in all areas INCLUDING finally better toilets! That is a hugh plus. The old ones had cheap low setting seats with high water lines and when a man does finally have to sit down at a toliet, this is a new and much applauded upgrated to the La Quinta brand! The decor is great, the staff is great so far and I am writing this in the evening of my check in. The only issue (and its huge) is the large inch gap under the room doors (and they also have ajoining doors if you want to rent two rooms and have a door openning between the rooms and they too have the huge inch gap under) that allow sound to travel as if there were only a sheet separating you and the person in the next room or those that walk out in the halls from when you are in your room. As I am doing this review I have been hearing the loud snorring coming from the room next to me. Why spend the money to build a nice place and then ruin everything by being cheap where it counts the most?? Plus the desk is right next to the air conditioner and it blows right in your head and body which makes for a freezer like blizzard experience as I am completing this review. Other than those issues, the place is great.
Great stay from start to finish. Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean pool, comfortable room...what more do you need? I knew I loved this place when the front desk staff greeted my dog by name every morning during our stay.
From check in to check out the stay was wonderful. A cheerful front desk, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the motel staff always greeted me with a smile. The kitchen was laid out in a professional way and the service was friendly! What a way to start the day!!
I am a frequent visitor to Floresville and I am happy to have this new LaQuinta here. The building is new,clean and pleasant. The rates are a bit high because of the demand for rooms in this oil field area. The staff are friendly and I feel safe and comfortable when I stay here.
