We stayed a week at their weekly rate. Great deal! Rooms were newly renovated, large and spacious. Lots of counter space in the bathroom; great water pressure in the shower. The beds are comfortable. I enjoyed the modern, comfortable recliner, and the spacious desk. The free wi-fi in the rooms worked great. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mostly continental (cereals, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, juices & coffee) but they also have a waffle station. Loved the waffles every day! Convenient location, but since it is so close to I-805 there is a lot of traffic noise. You may want to ask for a room further away from the interstate.
La Quinta Inn's are the best place to stay when traveling with pets. They are always neat and clean. The breakfast buffet is great. La Quinta Chula Vista was easy to find and the staff was efficient. The room service was good too!
I will return to this hotel next time I am in San Diego. It is perfect if you have friends and relatives in the South Bay and only a hop, skip and jump from all other attractions in San Diego. The employees are friendly, helpful, courteous and make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean, spacious and have every convience you could hope for. Don't hesitate to book with the La Quinta in Chula Vista, you will not be disappointed!
La Quinta has always been great for the price and the best thing, you don't get charged extra for pets. When my family and I travel, we always look for this company because they always accommodate. The only thing I would like to see improved, would be more exercise equipment, but hey, if that will jack up the price any, I'm fine with how they are doing things already. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. Staff was friendly and they even gave me a call to check on me and my family to see if we needed anything. That was a nice touch, I've never experienced that at the high end hotels that I've stayed at in the past. Good job guys.
We travel to this area once a year to build a house in Mexico. After a long drive from Santa Barbara and only a few hours to sleep you can only imagine how happy I was when I opened the door and saw the great bed and pillows.
