A La Quinta traveler |
We needed a home-base for my daughters out-of-state wedding, and La Quinta was better than we could have dreamt of for this! The room was large and so clean, and we loved the sunny theme (no musty smell as is usual in hotels) We had the most grand bathroom, wrap around mirrors and lighting perfect for hair and makeup, and even an extra lighted mirror and counter for hairdryers and straighteners for the rest of us, in the bedroom area, As we had visitors stopping by, the breakfast/foyer area was also great for entertaining. The staff were so friendly all the time too. This was the most perfect stay in a hotel we have ever had. Great value for money too!
This is a large LQ with external access, not good if its raining and no privacy. The room was OK but had a strange smell and the covers had small stains on them. Breakfast was poor, tiny room in the lobby. Staff were good though.
Stopped here unplanned during a snow storm with 2 dogs and it was a pleasant surprise. Nice big rooms, excellent areas outside for walking dogs, take out right across the driveway. Close to highway but peaceful. Would come again with pets.

Don?t let the appearance fool you. The inside of the rooms are VERY CLEAN. Being right off the freeway made our overnight stop very convenient AND there was NO outside noise to be heard in the rooms and the room heater was so quiet, we couldn't even tell it was on (how'd they do that??. The best night?s sleep in a hotel that I have had in a long time.
Only a quick drive north of the airport, made it very worth the drive to get an affordable room.
This is the first time I have stayed at a La Quinta but it will not be my last! Great service from the front desk clerks to the maid service. Rooms were clean and quiet. The morning breakfast had enough food for a full meal. Even though the hotel was full (with lots of dogs because of a dog show in the area) it was quiet. Pet friendly without charging the extra fee that most hotels charge. Lots of space to walk my dogs with free dog biscuts and dog waste removal bags at the front desk. My first night I called to see if they had an extra box floor fan that I could use. They did not have one but the manager said that if I really needed one she would go out and buy one for me!!! Now that's great service!! Also liked the security guard walking around the parking lot at night. The hotel was in a nicer part of Denver but, still, it IS Denver. Definately would recommend this place!
