We stay at this Inn every time we are visiting Tallahassee. Because we travel with our two dogs we love to stay at La Quinta's because they always treat the wife and I and the furry boys very well. The rooms are always clean, everything works, and the breakfast is always nice. Made the reservation via the web site and as with all of our reservations during the trip it was perfect when we arrived. This location is close to FSU, The Capital, and loads of restaurants. If you are traveling with your dogs, why would you stay anywhere else? Great Place to Stay!

Amazing price for the quality. We paid on average 65 dollars per night. King room was huge. Staff was very helpful and informed on the area's restaurants and activities. Many restaurants nearby and close to downtown. I highly recommend this hotel. Though we didn't have the free breakfast, it appeared that many people were enjoying it. Most of it was pre-packaged food, but at the price and value, I wouldn't expect a buffet with a beef carving station and fresh baked bread.

Call me a fool. This is the second time staying at this property and the first time we checked in we found the room unmade and the sheets were dirty. The front desk sent the maid to the room to tidy it up and we were happy. The second time we go back to this property was this past weekend. I don't understand how they can have AAA backing them up when they have a serious maid problem. Our sheets were dirty! Because we had a very busy weekend with 2 graduations from FSU - I didn't complain until Sunday! We checked in on Friday and I marked the sheets with a small pen mark to make sure the maid would change our sheets. She did not! I placed the card as it instructs to do so on each bed. She did not even wipe the counters or sink. I left toothpaste in the sink to see if they would wipe it. As I said the room was dirty when we arrived. I was going to stay thru Monday however I checked out on Sunday night and went to the Four Seasons by Sheraton. Ron at the front desk at La Quinta admitted to me they have a serious maid problem. This problem has been ongoing and not isolated to this one day! Never will I stay at this property again! Does a health inspector inspect hotels or do they only do that for restaurants? I read what others complained and I should have listened to their valid complaints! I complained to corporate and to the manager and received an email that said I'm sorry. I'm sorry doesn't solve this ongoing problem.

Spent a quiet and an uneventful evening with the wife at this location. Can't ask for anything more. Well appointed room with comfortable double beds, sheets and pillows (3). New 32" Samsung flat lcd TV, ironing board and relatively new steam iron, which we needed for Monday morning. Usual free continental type breakfast, clean eating area, large variety of items. Got the room for less than 60 bucks with discounts. Great deal, convenient location.

Stayed here three nights for my daughters graduation from FSU. Had two small dogs and hotel is very pet friendly. They have a dog walk area but there is no walkway in the grass, so you have to dodge the waste that inconsiderate owners have left who don't pick up after their dogs. The hotel even provides bags for you , it's people like this who ruin it for responsible dog owners. The room was spacious and clean. Not noisy at all. Breakfast was pretty good considering it was free, OJ, coffee, muffins, hard boiled eggs, microwaveable pancakes, bagels, etc. Saved SO much money on breakfast and not boarding the dogs! There is an IHOP next door just steps away, nice after a 6 hr drive, did not want to get in the car again! Would have used the pool, but it rained the whole time we were there. NICE TVs. Check in is simple if you sign up online as a rewards member. Would definitely stay here again.
