I thought that this Hotel was relatively new, but I was informed that when La Quinta took over this property, around 4-5 years ago,it went through a complete revovation.You can still smell the "new" smell, in the rooms, and corridors. My king room was well laid out, with an easy chair,work station, fridge, and micro, and flat screen t.v. It had the regulkar coffee maker, and not thoise single cup units. There are large grounds surrounding the property, and plenty of green areas. When I checked in,even though had never been here before, I was treated like an old friend. There was a slight mix-up in my reservation, but it was quickly changed, with a smile. Breakfast offered biscuits, and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausages,waffles,a selection of cereals, rolls,and breads,yogurt, fresh fruit & juices,sweet buns, and fresh coffee, A good way toi start the day! I give this Hotel, an excellent rating.
The friendliness of staff, cleanliness of rooms, TV channel selection, quiet and comfortable roomsand pillow top matress bed are a few of the reasons I make this my hotel of choice when I'm in the area for business and would stay for pleasure if in the area. A lot of resturants and shopping in the area.
I stay at La Quintas a lot and this one is one of the best. The staff is so professional and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect and your stay is comfortable. I had a wonderful night's sleep and room was very quiet. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with eggs and sausage, two flavors of waffles, energy bars, fresh fruit, as well as the usual items. Free USA Today. Although there are no restaurants in walking distance, there are many places to eat just a short distance away. Everything was very clean-common areas, breakfast area, as well as the room.
The hotel and rooms were very clean. The service was good, and the continental breakfast had a good variety. They did lose my reservation, but it ended up being straightened out. The beds were nicer than most hotels, having a pillowtop, but the pillows could have been a little better. Overall, the stay was great and the value was good. Lastly, the refrigerator and microwave were nice to have in room!
The people who work at this location are some of the nicest and most accommodating I have ever encountered. Our travel schedule was such that we would be arriving before the normal check in time. I called ahead and they were very happy to make sure our room would be ready at our arrival time. The room was very clean and there were many good restaurants near by. I would highly recommend this location.
