We were advised by the LaQuinta Inn advisor to get a suite based on our two small children with us - It was perfect! The lobby was clean, pretty and smelled nice. The Front Desk Receptionist was friendly, personable, and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and coffee was perfect- lots of variety of food and the attendant was constantly replenishing as people ate. Could not have asked for a better stay.
We stayed here on a trip from Florida to Austin, TX. They put us on the first floor to make it easier to walk our two dogs - no extra charge for pets. It's Triple A rated. Nice room with a king bed, It's close to a number of restaurants (we got chinese take out). Breakfast was very nice. We make this trip several times a year and will probably stay here again.
My husband and I were in Baton Rouge, along with my daughter and her 2 children (1 & 6 years) for a wedding. From check in to check out, our experience was wonderful. So much room in the suite, plenty of room for the kids to play. Super clean. Superior friendly staff even when just passing them in the hallways. Easy access from the interstate. The small kitchenette was just what we needed with the kids too. GREAT price too. Would definitely recommend the LaQuinta Inn & Suites on O'Neal Lane!!!
We have stayed at this location a few times since 2010. The rooms are still very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are very polite! We received a gift for being an elite member of La Quinta. It was a small plastic bottle of water and a very small bag of chips. The idea of the gift is nice...but the gift itself reminded me of a brown bag lunch minus the sandwich.
Excellent rooms for price. Quite, well equipped. Breakfast service average or better for continental style. Cleanliness both in rooms and generally overall are ecxcellent. The exercise room and laundry facilty is also well equipped. Easy access to I-12 and outside the traffic problems encounted closer to downtown.
