A La Quinta traveler |
I think this was a 4 star quality hotel at a 2 star price. Staff was excellent and the room was as nice as any place I've stayed. My room was located next to the lobby and across from a conference room so it was a little noisier than I would have liked. However, I would stay there again with no hesitation!
I chose this hotel for my family over the Memorial Day weekend because it has been the favorite place in town with my grown children and grand-babies alike! It has great amenities for all ages, and very quiet hallways!
They had BACON! The breakfast was excellent, sausage one day, bacon the next! There was no shortage of breakfast foods, including bacon! Lots of choices! There are choices for even a picky eater or little children.
The location is within walking distance of Two Senoritas restaurant, and has easy access to the I-30 freeway, while having a quiet wooded area behind. Ample parking and a feeling of security are present here. Across the freeway, you can eat at El Chico or I-Hop,
The staff is an efficient, quiet 'presence' in the background, meeting your needs without getting in your way. The hotel is pet friendly, yet the rooms are sparkling and clean, proving that the cleaning crews do a perfect job! (Tell Cedric "Hi")
You are (usually) greeted with fresh hot cookies when you enter or exit, unless someone took a few extra! Even your pet will be greeted with a pet treat on the side table!
The living area is spacious and comfortable. The dining area has lots of room for group meetings and presentations after breakfast hours!
The internet is great, and the rooms are up-to-date on technology.
The beds have those plush mattresses you love to sink into and the rooms are quiet.
If you aren't happy with this hotel, it will be a big surprise, because my family members have chosen this hotel many times, and never had a complaint. If there were any kind of problems, I would have noticed, because I want my family to be extremely happy!
You get a quite a bit more than you pay for at this hotel, especially for the moderate price!
There are other places in town, and I've seen them all because of all the times my family comes to town! They have chosen this one above all.
Everything was great!!!!! Starting with the young man at the front desk Gabriel..who was very helpful and efficient. Gabriel not only helped us with our reservation, but he also recommended places to go eat in Mt. Pleasant.
This hotel was great. The staff was great from the time I booked the stay over the phone until the time we checked out. The rooms were spotless. The breakfast was really a great hot breakfast - not once did we go the 1/2 mile down the street to IHOP or any other breakfast place. My only issue wasn't with the hotel at all. There is just construction going on right now, so the location was a bit troublesome, but it was right off the freeway and located near enough restaurants to not make you have to drive too far.
The beds were high quality. The pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. I had absolutely no complaints about anything at the hotel. I will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and comfortable. We will be back to this location whenever we are in town. They treated the kids well. And they even allow pets and provide treats at the front desk for them.
