A La Quinta traveler |
The people are very professional, nice and really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Rates were very competitive; rooms clean. I have stayed at both hotels across the street and this one surpasses both with flying colors. Pets are permitted too.

We like to visit different areas of Texas but we like the small towns the best so we messed around Canton and Tyler but stayed in Jacksonville and really enjoyed our stay. Will stay again thank you very much!!!

This is one of the nicest and newest hotels in Jacksonville. Good location. Front desk employee at check in was very nice and check-in was quick and painless. Lobby was very nice. Great cookies in the evening and coffee available all day. Breakfast was typical La Quinta fare and was sufficient. The elevator was slow and made a lot of noise. I was surprised since the hotel is not very old. Also, even though our room was not closest to the street, we heard street traffic all the time. We also could hear people in the hall all night long and could hear doors opening and closing (even with the a/c fan running). Hotel was not crowded so I can only imagine how much noise there is when it is full. Bed was comfortable but creaked every time you moved.
If you want a great place to stay on vacation or a business trip, try La Quinta Inn & Suites Jacksonville, Texas. I checked in yesterday at 12:30 PM, Kelly greated me as though she had known me for years, at first I thought maybe i had seen her before but it turned out that is just how she is. I brought a concern to her and before I made from the front desk to my room it was taken care of. Great job Kelly.
Then tonight I learned they have a guest appreciation in the breakfast area. Some really good food and drinks. Chelsea was heading that up tonignt and she checked on us often to make sure all was well, she wears a smile that warms the heart. This has been a truely fantastic stay and I look forward to coming back.
Oh, they also have Pantene shampoo with conditioner here which is a step up from what most other La Quinta hotels offer.
I highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is the newest in the Jacksonville area, and they could not be any nicer! The rooms are huge and well appointed--granite countertops in the bathrooms, white beddin, microwave and refrigerators in all of the rooms! The hotel offers a Manager Reception with free food and drinks every Tuesday, and the staff is super friendly--ready to take care of all of your needs. They also offer a free hot/cold breakfast, guest laundry facilities, business center, fitness center and indoor pool. Free wifi throughout!
