Beware of the pets-allergy sufferers. Although this is a newer energy smart hotel, it is not the place for people with health issues or that may not LOVE dogs. If I'd not booked the room through Priceline (which is nonrefundable) we would have canceled the reservation. I could hear four different dogs barking in first floor rooms as I checked in. Once we passed the beautifully decorated modern style foyer there were spots everywhere on the carpet. That would not have been bad if the carpet in the hallways and elevator had been vacuumed that weekend. We were there 3 days and the elevator and our hallways had the same debris when we checked out Sunday as when we checked in Friday. You could smell doggy pooh and that sweaty big dog smell throughout the hallways each time we left the room (including going to eat breakfast). When going to my room I was almost attacked by a large friendly dog while carrying food. The room had indications of poor cleaning (e.g. 1/4" dust on the shelf in the bathroom , oily headboards, etc.). The carpet had huge stains, the bathroom vanity had splash stains on the nice wood beneath the beautiful granite counter top, door frames, and on the walls) which I hope were coffee and not what I think they were). I was impressed by the hybrid power outlets in the parking lot; however, I was turned off when I saw dogs were curbed and owners did not clean up after them. The walls were paper thin; therefore, you could hear babies crying, doors slamming, microwave trays turning, and dogs barking late into the night. Out sick today with allergy symptoms. :( The rooms were nicely appointed and the photos on the website are accurate minus the stained carpet and dust. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were a plus. The location was GREAT! It is right off the interstate and near a variety of restaurants and shopping experiences.

In a nut shell...the staff were great, the room was great and the morning meal was great! The only complaint I "might" have is that there wasn't much to do in the exercise room, but the machines they have were great! ... Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY! And I recommend it to anyone that's even thinking about staying here! I had been on the road for 3 days and this was the best night sleep I got in those 3 days!

Traveling with pets and found La Quintas to be the perfect choice - No sign of previous residents a must for me - This hotel was very clean and up-dated - Service first rate! I highly recommend this hotel regardless of traveling with pets or not -

Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Clean rooms and great beds. I couldn't believe that pets werrr allowed in the hotel. It was spotless. I would recommend thus to anyone in memphis looking for a hotel............................

We had a room on the first floor, right next to the entrance. That was a minus. The hotel was clean. The staff was great. The room above us sounded like they were bowling, and you could hear them stomping around. If u have a choice don't stay on the bottom floor. The pool was great, and the jacuzzi too. Just could not get pass the noise, makes it hard to sleep.
