"The little hotel that tried"

This is the little hotel that tried. It is a facility of modest quality with a cheerful (if not always competent) staff. I stayed here for one night because I had an event nearby and the hotel was convenient. It's located on a busy highway with lots of fast food and other businesses (but no noise; my room was located fairly near the freeway and it was quiet). There is a gasoline station with a small store nearby.
The room itself was comfortable although seemed somewhat worn. The bathroom supplies were okay and the towels were alright. The room included a refrigerator and a coffee pot (I did not use the later; the former was a little frosty, but that' is just a setting I think).
The hotel includes a small fitness room that was locked. My key didn't work, but a staff person happened along and let me in. The equipment was safe and worked fine, although it was a bit limited (as most fitness centers in smaller, cheaper hotels are).
The room plan included a breakfast which was very limited and of relatively poor quality (cold cereals, toast, coffee and what appeared to be some sort of eggs in a warmer that I did not investigate). Both the dining and the food areas were very cramped, making guests practically fall over each other to prepare food. The utensils plates were thin and of poor quality. Although the restaurant area was very bright and cheerful, there was limited seating in tables arranged in rows (like a school cafeteria) and the overall mood was dismal.
The staff were friendly and prompt in attempting to help and provided good information (their estimated drive time across town was very accurate). I put in a wake up call, however, which was never delivered. Had I not awakened I could have missed the event I traveled across country to attend (it was a morning event).
We went to Moreno Valley for a Graduation Party. We're looking for a nice hotel with breakfast , because we're traveling with other family members and children .From check in to check out the Staff there were Great!!!! We had three rooms for the family and we were very happy with rooms. Very big and clean!! Free Parking was a plus. As we say from Hawaii, Much Mahalo 's to the Staff at La Quinta in Moreno Valley!
We recently stayed at the Moreno Valley LQ Inn after we left Palm Springs and were on our way to the coast. Moreno Valley is definitely more affordable than Palm Springs. We always stay at La Quintas because of the high quality and reasonable prices. We had not stayed in Moreno Valley previously but will definitely stay here again. Room was great, clean and the king size bed very comfortable. The breakfast was a real surprise. There were some additional food items that were high in protein so gave us a real energy boost. Had not seen these items at a La Quinta previously. Staff was quite friendly.
Great Hotel
Was able to bring my dog which is very important to us and we were treated very well by the staff.
Clean Rooms, nice breakfast, nice workers.
Good Value for the rooms,
It was a very relaxing stay.
La Quinta Inn & Suites is a fabulous hotel! Very nice rooms, very clean, and friendly staff, front desk employees were amazing. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The ladies that cleaned the rooms were very friendly and did a great job. I look forward in the future to staying at this hotel. My husband and I are between residence at the current time and this is the very best hotel we have stayed at since Oct. 2012.
