Have stayed at this location many times while in San Antonio and have always found it to be clean, comfortable and affordable. It is located near shopping and recreation activities and a very good value!
I was spending only one night here, I live about an hour and a half away, but did not feel like travelling due to the fact that I was spending time with a friend in San Antonio. I should have just gone back home! The pool is outdoors and is not kept up with at all. It was very dirty; leaves, bugs, a cigarette butt all were floating around. Also, the hot tub part of it didn't work at all (which would have been great because the water was extremely cold) The soda vending machine had absolutely nothing in it, every choice made it said "sold out". Walls are somewhat thin, we could hear other TV's, but it didn't make a big disturbance. They had computers there for guest use, which was nice, the breakfast was your typical cereal, yogurt, breads, etc etc. It's very easy to get back onto the highway though, and the area does have restaurants and attractions (The Rim shopping center, Fiesta Texas, Shops at La Cantera) It's on the outskirts of the San Antonio area, so there is a bit of travel if you're planning to go downtown.
Always clean and friendly. The staff is very couteous and on top of any problems. The breakfast is hot, fresh and on time. The pool are is quite clean and relaxing. The exercise room is big and the equipment is clean.

This La Quinta is the newer layout with larger rooms; half wall between bed and living area.
Very spacious! Easy access on and off IH10. Very near restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, etc. Due to the location this La Quinta appears to be a stop for business use more so than personal. With that said, I wouldn't hesitate to have out of town guests stay here because it is so close/centrally located to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Seaworld and the Hill Country amenities -- and staying here much more reasonably than a place closer to any one of the mentioned attractions.
First time staying here, excellent accomadations, wonderful areas for lots of shopping close by. Small quaint towns to looks for antiques close by. Hotel personal very helpful and kind. Will be back !
