I stayed here for a graduation. The rooms are very nice. The refrigerator and microwave is a plus. The staff was very accomodating. The included breakfast is a nice compromise between a cold danish and a full sit down. There is hot food (changes by the day) and fresh fruit along with a delightful TEXAS shaped waffle. I recommend highly.
We booked out 10 rooms at this La Quinta for a wedding party for 3 days. During our stay, all of our family was very impressed with the rooms, the beds, the breakfasts and especially the staff. We were made to feel welcome at every opportunity. Good hot breakfasts every day and a nice hot tub/pool to play in. The rooms are really nice - we had both double bed queen rooms and one king suite - with big flat screen TVs, refrigerators and coffee makers.
It's directly across the street from a Walmart Supercenter so if you forgot anything, you can walk over and get it. Also, cheapest gasoline prices in town. Convenience.
They are also dog friendly. No pet deposit. It was great to have the family sheltie with us for the trip.
This is the best La Quinta we have ever stayed in. I wish they were all this nice.

I was in town attending a wedding at The Vineyards and the La Quinta Inn Schertz was the perfect location. The hotel is very clean and all the rooms were nicely furnished. Breakfast is included in the morning and had a good variety of choices, including eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, yogurt, bagels, and more. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They kindly let our family gather in a conference room one evening to play cards. La Quinta Inn Schertz is pet friendly as well. I would definitely stay in this location again if I was visiting the area.
We were in town for a wedding and this is the hotel where rooms were reserved. I have stayed at a couple of La Quintas that were kind of gross, but this hotel was surprisingly nice! The rooms were well done and very clean. Very comfortable bed. The highlight of the hotel was how incredibly nice the front desk staff were. The only downside to the hotel is the pool area. The pool furniture was uncomfortable and the space around the pool wasn't very inviting. But overall, I would recommend this hotel.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Changed rooms for us to 1st floor to make it easier for our 4-legged kids. The breakfast provided many options to choose from. Will stay there again when we visit that area.
