This was our first time staying at a LaQuinta. What a pleasant surprise. It looked fairly new. Check-in was quick and easy. We booked an executive king room; it was huge. Most importantly, it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable; we slept great.
Breakfast was the typical fare-juices/coffee, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, muffins, and make your own waffles.
If we were ever going to be back in this area, we'd definitely stay again.
Stayed here for 3 nights recently; reservation was just as I asked. Had a very pleasant sized room with a king bed, dorm frig, coffee table and couch. Iron worked well, not leaving crap on my clothes. Desk staff very personable with cookies ready when I arrived. Hotel is away from grocery places so stock up as you see one and bring supplies back. While there is REASONABLY PRICED vending machines, not so for snacks. Papers available each morning, cleaning crew was almost ninja-like. Room was quiet and spotless at all times. Breakfast was a carb-bomb and kept me from giving 5 stars; I chose to augment this with protein bars and fruit that I had foraged the night before. Water was hot when I wanted it to be; internet was strong, TV was clear and channels diverse. I would absolutely stay here again!
This was my second visit to the La Quinta in Edgewood. Although it is right off I-95, it's a little hard to find because it's tucked away behind the Days Inn. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Staff is friendly and professional - called me by name at checkout which made me feel like a valued customer. They serve a free continental breakfast in the lobby - not extensive but certainly enough to get yourself going. There is coffee and tea on the lobby all day, as well. They allow pets, but you would never know it - until you actually saw them. The lobby is very comfortable with sofas and televisions. It's located within a half hours drive of Baltimore and Bel Air. Would definitely recommend!
The staff were prompt and efficient with my check in. The room was clean and comfortable. There were ample drawers and closet space for my wardrobe. The refrigerator was tucked into the cabinet under the TV and microwave stand, with a covering door. The microwave was small but more than adequate for my needs. The bed was amazingly comfortable and large. The bathroom was clean and neat. There were always plenty of towels and wash cloths each day.
We had a very good experience at La Quinta this past week. The staff was very helpful, the room was very large and clean, and the breakfast buffet in the morning was outstanding. This was our first stay at a La Quinta, and we would definitely stay at this hotel again...
